Chapter Twenty Seven

~When you hold your baby in your arms the first time, and you think of all the things you can say and do to influence him, it's a tremendous responsibility. What you do with him can influence not only him, but everyone he meets and not for a day or a month or a year but for time and eternity.~

Jett shook uncontrollably. "Bolton Help." I call." Bolton runs outside to my side. "Olivia stand back." He says pulling me backwards. "It's my baby." I call. "Don't you see Olivia, he's shifting!" Bolton says looking down at Jett, his bones cracked, his teeth grew in to canine long teeth. Hair sprouted all over him, Alec and Ashton had stopped fighting. Alec had shifted and rushed to my side, I heard him pop his shoulder back in to place. "Are you okay?" I ask him, he smiles and nods, his face had a long cut and his eye was bruised. "I'm fine." He says. I look over at Ashton who looked badly beaten up. Another crack and Jett howled in pain. I closed my eyes for a moment, when I opened them I looked down. Jett wasn't Jett instead stood a large black wolf pup. He growled at Ashton, with a blink of an eye Jett pounced on Ashton's, he snarled, Ashton's eyes went dark, he shifted, Ashton stood up and towered over Jett. Jett stood his ground, still snarling at him. "Jett." Alec said in his alpha tone, Jett didn't listen. "Jett, I know you're in there." I say softly. He turns around and begins walking towards me, I sit on the floor and smile, I cross my legs. Ashton took the chance and ran deep in to the forest leaving just Me,Alec, Bolton and Jett. "He's gone now." I say to him, his eyes soften and he tried to shift back. "Jett concentrate." Alec says kneeling down. "Bolton go check on the kids." I say with a smile, he looks at me hesitantly, but then runs in the house. "Jett it may be painful, but concentrate on you." Alec says lifting Jett up. Jett closes his eyes, his bones begin to crack and his wolf howls out in pain. "Your doing it." Alec says proudly. Five grueling minutes later, Jett laid in Alec's arms, fast asleep, completely nude. "He must be exhausted." Alec says helping me up with his free hand. "I'm really proud of him though, who would of thought, he had so much self control, considering his age and how young he is." Alec says holding my hand as we walk in the house. I smile "His coat is so rare." Alec says with a shock. I nod my head.

"Are you okay?" Alec says closing the door. "I should be asking you. Are you okay?" I ask looking up at him. "I'm more than okay, can you believe he just shifted!" Alec says smiling. "And I was there to see it all." He says with a wide grin. "I'm going to put little man in to bed. I'll be down in a minute." He says kissing my head. "Alright." I say with a smile, Alec walks up the stairs carrying Jett in to his room. I walk in the living room. Bolton was sat on the sofa, his phone to his ear. "Hold on babe." He says, Bolton looks up at me "Is Jett okay?" He asks. I nod my head "Alec has just taken him to bed." I say sitting on the sofa. "Good. Are you okay?" He asks me, I nod my head even though the realization of my little Jett not being so little any more. "Alright, I'm going to get going home, we'll be sure to bring Albany down." He says standing up, he kisses my forehead. "Alright babe, I'm going to be home in about 10 minutes." He says just before he puts down the phone. "I'll see you later kid. Tell Alec I said bye." He says standing up and walking out the front door.

Alec soon comes down, he sits on the sofa next to me, he puts his arm around me and kisses my forehead. "Jett is not like any other Alpha." Alec says keeping his eyes on his TV. "He has remarkable understanding. I mean not even I was." He says, his eyes still glued to the TV. "The earlier he trains, the better he'll be in the future." Alec says. I look over at him. "I don't want to send him away." I say a little loud. Alec chuckles and shakes his head. "I know you don't, I want him to train, with me." Alec says. "Are you sure?" I say looking up at him, he smiles weakly. "I want to, I never thought I'd have the chance to. Jayson was three, just like Jett, he was excited to shift and I was more than excited to train him. I never got to do it with my son. But I want to do it with ours." Alec says. I smile. "Sure." He pecks my lips and smiles. "I'll let him know tomorrow. I have to tell my dad" Alec says with a child like grin. "You're excited ain't you." I say looking over at him, he smiles with a nod. He pulls out his phone and calls Arthur's number, he put the phone on speaker. Arthur answers on the fourth ring. "Alec." He says in a concerned tone. "Hi dad." Alec says, I looked over at him, he looked carefree. "Is there a reason why you're phoning me this late?" Arthur says concerned. Alec chuckles "Yes Dad. Jett just shifted." Alec says sitting up, my head moves with his body. "Is he okay?" Arthur says even more concerned. "He is young after all." He finishes his sentence after a pause. "That's what I thought, he was amazing dad. If you saw him. Dad he had so much self control." Alec say amazed. "What do you mean?" Arthur asks confused. Alec explains what happened. "Is Olivia okay?" Arthur asks. "I'm fine." I say speaking "You say Jett was a black wolf?" Arthur asks confused. "Yes. He was a black WOLF." Alec says sighing. "That is extremely rare, hasn't been seen around in generations." Arthur says. "I know father." Alec says. "He must be trained immediately, a wolf with such rare qualities will grow into the Alpha of all Alphas." Arthur says, Alec nods his head as if Arthur was standing in front of us. "I know dad. Which is why we're going to train him. You was once yourself the Alpha of all Alphas." Alec says with a smile. "And what an amazing boy I raised, I really am proud of you Alec. You've grown to become twice the Alpha I was." Arthur says, Alec smiles softly. "Where is the boy now?" Arthur asks. "In bed, fast asleep." Alec says. "Good, he'll need all the rest he can." Arthur says. "Speaking of rest dad. I think my wife has been up way to late." Alec says looking down at me, my eyes fluttered as it adjusted with the light. "Goodnight Alec, Goodnight Olivia." Arthur says. "Night." We both say, as soon as the phone disconnected Alec put it in his pocket. He moved slightly so my head didn't drop. "Do you want me to carry you?" He asks me, I nod my head tiredly. Alec smiles and lifts me up cradling me, I lay my head on his chest and smile as I listen to his heartbeat.
