“Solar beam!” someone shouted from behind Ty and a solar beam passed closely by his right shoulder, reaching the fireball. The impact of the two attacks colliding caused a small explosion, creating a light smoke cloud. Flawizarmon made an irritated expression on its face as it saw someone interfere with their fight. A man passed by Di, not noticing her and approached Ty. As soon as Ty fully grasped his appearance he realized who it was. “Jenz! You’re here too?” he said, shocked. Jenzel was also one of Ty’s online friends. He was from Wisconsin, tall, muscular and African American. “Yeah, I got here an hour after you left Skype.” He said calmly. Ty wondered how he could seem so relaxed in a tense situation. “I was passing by when I heard an explosion, so Solarmon and I decided to check it out.” He continued talking as Ty noticed a gear-shaped digimon next to him.

“Solarmon:

Is made up of a large golden cogwheel with two smaller wheels beside it. He is a rare form of the Machine Digimon. His body emits a scorching heat and is dangerous to touch.”

“So your digimon evolved into its rookie form too! That’s awesome.” He thought noticing that it resembled Hagurumon. “There was an option on my digivice saying it could reach that level.” Jenz said as Ty was amazed at how he managed to comprehend how the device works so quickly. “I knew that.” He lied. “Jenz.” Solarmon said spinning its side gears. “I know.” He replied almost as if they had a mental connection. Jenz noticed a card on the floor next to Ty and picked it up. “It’s a card allowing the user to learn a water type ability.” He thought while looking at it and quickly inserted into the slot. “Jet arrow: Activate.” He said as Solarmon started shooting jets of water out of its mouth towards Flawizarmon.  It managed to turn of the fire on its head and shoulders but didn’t cause much damage. “Keep your lame trump cards for battles against babies.” It mocked them. Other digimon, who were hiding anywhere possible in the town, carefully observed their battle. Solarmon ignored its comments and continued shooting out water. Flawizarmon grabbed his other maraca, which was colored blue. He started moving it swiftly and each movement froze one blast of water. Everyone was astonished by the sudden change in its attack type. “So it can use both fire and ice type attacks.” Jenz thought while he didn’t notice another attack charging towards him. Solarmon jumped in front of him to avoid wounding his partner. After watching the humans determination in that tense battle, the other digimon from the town were encouraged to protect their home. Two of them stopped the ice attack with their fireballs, while the others surrounded Flawizarmon. “You might be strong, but against an army of determined warriors you stand no chance.” One of the digimon spoke as the enemy got frightened but still didn’t quit its cool act. “Oh, the pitiful digimon come to the rescue! Boo hoo. What do you expect to accomplish? Even if you defeat me you’ll never be able to even look at my masters.” It said, laughing. They all attacked it at the same time and managed to destroy it and erase its data. The mayor of the town approached the “digidestineds” from the crowd. “Ignore what it said. You came here for a reason, and the stronger your bond is with your partner, the stronger they’ll get. And so will you. I believe you will be able to stop all of the killings in the Digital World once and for all.” He spoke confidently. “I don’t know what awaits us, but I know one thing. I’ll never give up!” Ty said and his partner agreed enthusiastically. “Pfft..big talk from someone who couldn’t activate their card.” Di teased him. Jenz just stood there and laughed. Another digimon was walking towards them from the crowd, carrying an egg. Di noticed it was the same one as she saw before and ran towards the digimon to take it. The moment she did, the same thing as with Snowagumon’s egg, happened to it. From it hatched a tiny digimon. It had a yellow diamond shaped mark on its forhead and a small colorful horn. Its head was purple.

“Ketomon, M:

Ketomon is a Slime Digimon, whose name is derived from "Reject”.”

“Arr!” he made a sound while opening his eyes.  Di was left speechless. “GUYSS!! GUYYS!!!” they heard someone shout that word repeatedly from the distance, and saw a group of people running towards them. “Who is that?” They all thought when they saw them. They recognized just 2 of them, Josie and Justin, no one was familiar with the other two. They all met up and were offered to spend one more night at the motel, for free, because of what they’d done for the town.

*Note: I will put the gender of a digimon next to its name in the digidex description. Also, I'm sorry if describing a character as African American wasn't appropriate or offended anyone.
