5.The Light Digidestineds! Part 2

A sudden change in weather arrived, filling the streets with cold, firm snow. Everyone got up early and thanked the mayor once again for letting them stay. As they got outside a big piece of snow fell on Ty’s head from the roof. He screamed for second out of surprise then removed it with his hands.  “What is this?” he said looking at the colorless liquid, as the snow melted. “It’s snowing!” Di said, confused. SnowAgumon was apparently the only one who bursted with joy. He started running around the street and jumping in big piles of snow. Jenz made a snowball and started throwing it at others and before you knew it, everyone was in a middle of a snow fight. “It’s rather strange that this occurred all of sudden.” Rabih stated. Josie, Meri, Rabih and Justin were the new members of the group. Everyone stopped fighting and thought about the situation they were in. “Well, things must work differently in the Digital World.” Ty said “Either way, I think we should focus on finding everyone’s partners for now. We might end up facing an even stronger opponent any moment.” Everyone agreed. “I don’t like this kind of weather.” Solarmon said as every snowflake that landed on his body immediately evaporated. Jenz offered him his jacket, claiming he wasn’t really cold. He covered Solarmon’s body with it, but it got burned and left a rather thin layer of fabric, but enough to “protect” him from snow. They left the town and were soon stuck in a middle of a snowstorm. “I can’t see anything!!” Ty said while his face seemed frozen. “What’s that on your head?” SnowAgumon asked curiously “Oh yeah!” he said putting on his goggles. “Hehehe I can see now.” he said, satisfied. Everyone gave him an evil look. “What?!” he asked being disturbed by their expressions. “I am going to get frostbites form this.” Di said as she was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. “What’s that in the distance?” Justin noticed a shallow cave-like opening nearby. They all rushed to it, hoping to stay below a solid roof until the weather calms down. Fortunately, the small cave was quite comfortable and big enough for all of them to fit. They spotted some small branches and put them in one place, while Solarmon lit them on fire. Because the caves entrance wasn’t easy to go through, as it was almost completely closed, the cold breezes weren’t a problem and it soon got warm. “We should take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to each other properly.” Jenz suggested. “Alright! I’ll go first!” Ty exclaimed. “Hello everybody, my name is Ty and I’m a digimon fan.” he said, joking. “Hi Ty.” everyone replied going along with his joke. The present digimon just stared at them, confused. “I’m 17 and from Illinois. Uhh, I’m goofy, I guess.” he said feeling kind of awkward ‘bout the situation since he couldn’t think of anything else “I’m pentecostal, I like video games, chilling, anime. That’s ‘bout it.” he didn’t know what else to add. “Okay, my turn.” Josie said “My name is Josie, and I’m also a digimon fan. I’m 22 and I’m from Florida. I love singing and want to become a professional singer. I also like cosplaying, anime etc. and that’s ‘bout It.” she seemed as if she was prepared for her introduction, unlike Ty. “My name is Jenz, also a fan. I’m from Wisconsin and am 17. I’m a swimmer; I do street parkour with a group of people. I like technology, video games, anime etc.” from their intros you could

tell that they have lot in common. “My name is Di, 22, I’m also a fan but I don’t think we need to point that out anymore. I’m from Illinois, I love anime, singing, making videos. I’m really friendly and yea, that’s it.” she spoke quickly. “My name’s Justin, I love acting and stuff. I’m from Illinois and I want to move to Los Angeles. I like mostly the same things as everyone who’s spoken so far.” he said seeming annoyed. The only two left to speak were the new members. “Uh, my name’s Rabih. I’m 16 and from Lebanon. I like digimon too but I don’t really watch anime a lot. I like sports and I want to become a doctor and move to Australia.” he said, being a bit shy ‘cuz he didn’t know anyone. Everyone stared at Meri since she was the last one to speak and she seemed to have dozed off. Rabih gave her a push so she snaps out of it. “Oh, it’s my turn?” she asked, feeling a bit embarrassed,  and everyone nodded. “My name’s Meri, I’m 14 and live in Croatia. I barely know anything ‘bout digimon and I’ve watched only a bit of the first season. All I know is what my best friend told me, she’s obsessed. I love anime and anything Japanese.” she spoke with an Australian accent. “How come you have an Australian accent?” they all wondered. “I was born in Australia but moved to Croatia since my parents are from there.” she explained. They drifted to sleep soon because of exhaustion and the fire was fading away. It wasn’t really needed since Solarmons

body warmth was enough to keep the place warm.
