"Jacob, as in your son Isabella?" My mother looks shocked.
She simply nods as if this is no big news. I wonder how long she's known.
"Luna, if you don't mind my asking, in lessons, you said that an alpha even if he is not yet in the alpha position, could only be destined to mate with a Luna. That would mean I'm destined to be a Luna, would it not?
She smiles down at me and looks full of pride. "Ah yes, your mother and alpha were correct, you are smart, and capable of much more than you think."
"Im destined to be a what?!" Is all I can choke out.
"Luna" My big sister comes up to me kisses my head "and I couldn't be more proud my little sister"
I smile and kiss her cheek "But he likes Kaela, they were just together." I sigh defeated and throw myself into the couch.
"Oh my love, so young and naïve, the both of you. She has a mate and everyone knows that something is going on between you two. We've known since you and your family moved in." She begins defending her son and suddenly I feel a twinge of hope go through my entire body.
Someone knocks on the front door and I stand up to get it.
"Jacob. What are you doing here?" My face heats up and I try to void eye contact.
"Hello Jacob" Isabella says coming up behind me and putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Hello mother, I just came to tell you that father said to invite Chyenne and her family to supper tonight." His pulse speeds up when he says my name and I feel a spark run through my body.
"Thank you Jacob, Chyenne would you mind telling your family that Francis invited you and your family to dinner. Might I also suggest slowing down your heart beat love" She leans down whispering in my ear.
I feel my heart beat speed up and I run out of the room.

"Is it true?" Nichola leans over and whispers so we don't interrupt our parents talking about when our training will begin.
"Is what true?" I hold back a giggle so that our parents don't hear, but I know what she means.
"Is he really your mate?" She smirks looking across the table to Jacob, who's already looking at us.
"Who's your mate?" He says through the empathy link making me jump
"No one" I say smirking
"Are you lying? I can hear your thoughts and theyre pretty loud."
He's trying not to laugh, he's making it obvious.
"I'm not thinking about anything"
"Except the other night, and how hurt you were when you saw me with Kaela"
He almost seems guilty for me being hurt. "I am love, I didn't mean to hurt you, we were just training and anyway she has a mate, and I do too." I freeze, I didn't realize he could hear EVERYTHING I'm thinking.
He looks up at me and whispers "I do lovely" and winks
"Girls is that okay with you?" I flinch hearing the alphas voice booming
"yes, father , we are okay with training tomorrow." Nichola speaks for all three of us and Jacobs face lights up when Francis tells us that Nichola and I will be training with Julius, who's also Jacobs trainer.
"Mother, father can Chyenne stay over tonight?" Nichola smiles knowing that they wouldn't say no.
"Of course princess" Alpha Francis smiles at us "You all have early morning training."
We both sigh knowing there is no way to get out of this.
"Mother, is that okay with you?" I look at my mother with hopeful eyes, all I get in return is a simple smile.
Nichola jumps up and grabs my arm "Lets go get clothes for you! Mother, we will be right back, I promise."

"Chyenne! I can not believe that we are going to be sisters!" I giggle, she has not stopped talking about me being her brothers mate for three hours.
"Yes, Nichola if he would talk to me like he did the other night."
"Oh yeah! What did you two talk about?" She begins bouncing up and down on her bed.
I just shrug "Everything. Family, what training is like, the pack, living here. Just everything."
As soon as I finish talking I smell him. He smells like nature, its almost mouth watering, he walks past Nicholas room and I cant help but smile. "He's outside, isn't he?" Nichola looks at me, rolling her eyes.
I shake my head and she smiles at me.
"Come in Jacob, I know you're listening to us."
He opens the door slowly, trying not to make noise, he just got back from patrol and we were supposed to be asleep.
He smiles at me and kisses Nichola on her forehead. "You're supposed to be asleep, you have your first day of training tomorrow, and Julius is not going to go easy on you just because you're so young." And with that he turns to walk out.
"Wait, Jacob, can you please stay? You don't even have to lay next to me, I just .. if you.. um.. help me out here Nichola." I start blushing and he leans down to tuck Nichola in. "Come with me love" He smiles and whispers in my ear.
We wait until Nichola is asleep and stand up slowly walking to his room.
