"Come on lovebug, Luna wants us for early morning lessons." Kelsey leans down and kisses my forehead.
I stretch so she knows I'm awake and she walks out of my room. I roll over half expecting to see Jacob, but all i see is empty bed. I feel a twinge of emptiness but I just stand up and ignore it getting ready for early morning lessons with the Luna.
"Morning love, how did you sleep?" My mother smiles at me from the breakfast she is making for me and my sister.
"Good morning mother" I say smiling at her and walking to my sister to hug her.
My mother puts our eggs and toast on the table and kisses us both on the forehead.
"Mother, I'm not hungry, and I would like to go see Nichola before lessons. May i be excused?"
"Of course love, just try to be back in time for supper."
"Actually, may I stay with Nichola tonight?"
"What is with you?" Kelsey blurts out and I jump. i forgot she was there.
"What are you talking about?" My mother looks at her obviously confused.
"Nothing mother, im sorry. We should go, we have to be at lessons soon" She looks at me and i can tell she wont let this go.

"Okay girls, we need to train soon, you are all getting close to the age of shifting. Especially you Kelsey. And since you three are almost at the mating age, it might happen sooner." Isabella says looking directly at me.
"But Luna, how do we know when we've found our mates?" I look at her eagerly.
"Yeah mother, how do we know?" Nichola begins jumping up and down in her chair.
"Well, you'll know because you always want to be around them, and you can talk for hours without getting bored. They'll be the only thing you think about for hours, sometimes even days at a time."
With each word she says my face heats up even more. All I've thought about that night is him. The care free rebellious alphas son.. Jacob.
I feel Kelsey trying to open our mind link so I open it.
"You okay love bug?"
I feel her worry coming off her in waves and I know I need to figure out how to calm her down.
"Yes, bug, I like him.. I think he's my mate."
