Dear Emily,
I don't have much to share with you, the past two weeks have been slow. However, I do have a memory I want to tell you about. Do you remember some time ago, when I would go to  those weekly lunches with my coworkers? It wasn't coworkers I was meeting with, Em, and I hope one day you'll forgive me for that.
I miss you,
David

When David laid in bed that night, Emily was long asleep next to him. He put his arm around her waist and spooned her. She must have felt it, because she seemed to get comfier. He liked that she felt this comfortable with him, it was reassuring, but it still made him feel guilty for the last text message he sent before leaving for work.

Lunch is great

He had texted the woman he cheated on his girlfriend just two weeks ago, that lunch is great. How in the world was that a good idea? Should he cancel, maybe? But if he did, cancel, then he wouldn't learn what was so important that they had to do lunch. His interest was piqued and he could do nothing but oblige.

So he did. The next day he went out to lunch with Anabelle. Anabelle was a very pretty girl, but she talked too much. Why did she have to talk this much? Then David thought the one time she was silent was when she went down on him.

He shook his head. Not the time, not the place. Keep it together, David.

"And then she told me to fuck off and get out of the venue. Bitch really didn't know I was the singer of the band. I swear it was so fucking funny, it was a 'you had to be there' kinda moment" Anabelle said, grabbing some more fries from her almost empty plate. She was laughing at her own stories. Who does that?

They had been sitting on that table for an hour and Anabelle had said nothing important. Only stories about her band. David didn't have enough time for that.

"Anabelle for fuck's sake, why did you ask me to go out again? And how did you even get my number?" David was furious, but he hid it well, considering Anabelle had noticed nothing. Or maybe she was dumb as shit, that would make sense too.

"Uh rude. First off all, I thought you and I had a chemistry, you know?" She says searching in her pockets, "And I also wanted to see you again. I know I said I didn't but... I don't know, it's just something about you" She takes a lighter out of her pocket, along with a pack of cigarettes. She lights one and looks David in the eye as she inhales.

Those things will kill her, if David doesn't do it first. But, even he had to admit, that was extremely hot.

"You said you never wanted to see me again, how did we go from that to...this?" David just feels stupid now. And confused. He should have never agreed to this outing. "Well, I don't have an answer for you, it just happened. You can't prevent yourself from feeling things, can you?" She took another puff, a cloud of smoke formed in front of her.

"You can definitely not act on those supposed feelings!" His tone was louder now. He was furious. "You didn't answer my other question" He could feel his jaw clenching.

"You gave it to me... But you don't remember it do you?" There was a sparkle in her eyes once the next words flew out of her mouth, "I bet you have forgotten half of the night we spent together" She pulled a dollar bill out of her pocket and left it on the table. David glared at her. So now she was paying for his meal too? Fucking great.

She stood up and threw on her leather jacket. "You come with a car?" She asked once she put out her cigarette in the ashtray. "No? Why?" David was growing more confused and angrier by the second. "Aw, shit. I guess we'll have to settle for the toilets" Anabelle said and started walking towards the opposite direction of the exit, meaning their encounter wasn't quite over yet.

"Where are we going?" David said. He gave up and run to catch up to her. "I thought it was obvious, silly" She rolled her eyes in a playful way. "We are gonna recreate our first night together"

David stood frozen while the brunette opened the door leading to the toilets. "C'mon, before they see us" She was giggling now. How did she have so much energy? People started to stare at them, so David sucked it up and followed her inside.

"Alas, some privacy" Anabelle smiled and in a quick second, she captured David's lips on her own. She was charming. He couldn't say no even if he wanted to. She was a great kisser, he'd give her that. He let her jump and placed her on the counter next to the sink.

She was annoying, yes, but she was also great in bed. David would know, since it was his second time with her, in the toilets of a diner, approximately 45 minutes away from his house. The house in which his beautiful girlfriend would step in a few hours. But that didn't matter, once Anabelle took off her shirt.
