Narrative Pov.
After waiting for about a minute or so, Porsha was picked up by a white limousine. Sitting next to her was Jimmy who had his hands rested on the handle of his diamond cane as he stared forward with a displeased gaze.
Porsha's Pov.
"Something on your mind daddy?" I asked my dad who didn't seem to respond until I called out to him the second time. "Daddy?" I called out to him, rubbing his shoulder, he turned to me after gasping but calmed himself down right away. "Yes, hon?" He asked me, his deep voice still giving me goosebumps. "I was asking if something is on your mind?" I asked him and he seemed to be out of it for a bit. "No, it's just, well, what were you doing here? I mean don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to tell you where you can and can't go but uh, why here? Of all places?" He asked me, looking at me out of the corner of his eye.
"Shit! I can't tell him about Y/N! Dad never approved of any guys that tried to ask me out, and he might not approve of Y/N!" I whispered to myself in my head as I struggled to come up with any excuses that my dad might take. "I was hanging out with a friend from school!" I said, hoping he would be gullible enough to fall for it. "Oh yeah? What friend?" He asked, raising an eyebrow suspiciously, and the sweat on my forehead was running through my fur as I tried to come up with yet another excuse, "Okay, dad, I'll level with you, it was a friend, but it was a guy." I confessed, hating myself for having to call Y/N a "Friend" when I want us to be more than just friends, of course as expected, my dad wasn't so keen on the idea of me having a boy for a "Friend".
"A boy?! What's his name?" He demanded. "Dad, no, not this time." I said, putting my finger to his chest. "Not this time. Not ever. I finally have a friend that isn't a girl and YOU are not going to get in the way of it all! Almost all of the time you only let me hang out with girls. After all, you don't want me to be around boys because you're scared they're gonna do some shit to me but you don't have to worry, because almost all of the boys at school are too scared to talk to me, and all because of you!" I said, poking my finger into his chest violently, backing up into the door on his side. "And for the record, I have a date with him. Say whatever you want, but you're not butting in." I told him and he seemed to understand. "Ahh...okay, fine, I'll allow it." He said with a sigh and I looked at him confused. "Come again?" I asked him and he finally began to speak.
"Porsha, look, I'll admit. Most of the time I've done nothing but keep you from wanting to do what you want to do. The truth is, I'm just afraid that one day someone is gonna take you away from me." He confessed, "Dad--" "If this kid, whatever his name is, really means that much to you, then I'll allow it. Just, please, make sure the kid does treat you right?" He asked me and I nodded, "Trust me, dad. Y/N is a nice and sweet guy. Plus, I've been kinda crushing on him since 9th grade actually~." I said, never admitting to Y/N that I loved him Y/N for four years. Truthfully I wanted to be the one to pull the trigger but I guess he had to do it first. Either way, I guess we're somewhat officially "Dating" since we are going on a date tomorrow.
"Anything else I should know?" He asked me and I sighed a bit, "Y/N and I are going on a date tomorrow, and look, I'm going on my own, okay? You don't have to be my chauffeur to the place we're going." I replied as we finally arrived at my dad's building. "And for the record, the guy's not rich, okay? So don't say anything about him being poor when you meet him, although I don't think you will because I'll tell him ahead of time that you're coming. So don't try anything funny dad." I said and he nodded, raising his arms defensively. "Noted. Still, you seem pretty interested in this boy if you're willing to protect him from me." He said, sounding somewhat impressed yet contested.
"Do I sense a challenge coming from you?" I asked him, feeling my ears twitch by the sudden change of tone in his voice. "Perhaps. Just know Porsha, I will be there, and you better believe I'm gonna make my entrance. Don't you worry about a thing baby girl, I'm gonna meet this "Y/N L/N" And we'll see just who he is." He said and the dramatic tension he was putting into his character was so gauche.
