"Hurry up! Pudding, we are gonna be late"
Charlotte utters in a fearful cry as she and her little sister were almost 6 minutes late to their mother's approved time to return home.
"It's already 3:06 p.m. Mama's gonna lock us up in the black room."
"I know already and I'm sorry, you have to be dragged into this(in a sobbing way)."
A few minutes earlier - Charlotte and Pudding were enjoying their regular "garden recess" as their mother calls it, when they ran into a normal garden snake. Pudding was terrified and lost her silver bracelet while running away. A while later they returned, checking if the snake was still there and to retrieve the bracelet.
The garden recess is an 1 hour break their mother allows them after they do what she directs them to do. She is the queen of the land of Zorak. Princess Vivian of Valyria who came to power of Zorak after the old king's death.
Charlotte (age 13) and Pudding (age 13) are twins born to Vivian and King Elizabello Vinsmoke. After the king's mysterious death when they were still 7 years old, Lady Vivian came to power as the old king had no male heir and his daughters were too young to be throned.
After the king's death, Vivian made them follow a iron tight daily routine to shape them into fine princesses who shall benefit the nation with their marriage to powerful figures, well according to their mother.
