Some years passed by. Everything was peaceful in the Great Nefaratian Realm. The ruler of the 8 kingdoms King Gregor was married to Lady Sansa Tomenn, youngest cousin of Lord Mern Tomenn and daughter of the king and warden of Oldgate. One of the eight great kingdoms under Nefaratia.
A small fleet of 4 ships arrived from Nefaratia and were harboured in Korkshire. The largest port town in Zorak after the Great King's marriage. Loads of fortune were there among the small cargo that arrived from Nefaratia as souvenirs for the royal council of Zorak. Among them, few chests were not opened just yet and were kept in the King's private chambers by order of the king.
6 months after the wedding of his younger brother, King Elizabello passed out unconsciously in his room. The only things retrieved were an open and empty chest and an unopened and sealed chest. The king grew very sick within hours of regaining consciousness and died before the sun's rays could reach the earth the day later. The masters of medicines were not able to determine the cause of the sickness and death for many years to come.
The only thing of explanations were the treasure chests. The one not opened yet was ordered to be opened by a prisoner as a measure of precaution. To their shock the chest contained an oval jewelry piece half of which was red sapphire and the other half was a diamond.
The empty chest raised a question of mutiny against the Great king Gregor Vinsmoke. The queen took power of the throne of Zorak as the King had no rightful male heir and the Princess were still too young to be throned. The first order of the queen was to send an envoy to Nefaratia about the King of Zorak's death and to question the great king's accused role in that.
The envoy was never sent off as the whole realm of Nefaratia was in turmoil after the inhuman death of King Gregor Vinsmoke. Word was that an army of rebels and rouges led by Theon Ironborn launched a surprise attack in the Capital city of Goldstone where the royal palace of the realm of Nefaratia was. The king much to the people's surprise was pierced with a sword on his back not by the enemies or rebels but none other then Sir Winston Baratheon, the son of Sir Edmond Baratheon and the first division commander of the cavalry.
The Baratheons were the most loyal house to the Vinsmoke family, not anymore. The vanguard of the Baratheons Sir Winston himself killed the last male Vinsmoke alive and ended the Vinsmoke family bloodline.
Theon Ironborn ascended to the throne after the Vinsmokes were liberated. Sir Winston expected himself to be the next king, or he was promised to by the Ironborns. Sir Winston found him being betrayed and was made to choose either death or exile.
He later fled the capital and joined a group of pirates.
Coming back to the present time, he is now know as Joker of the dawn, the right hand man of the unnamed king of the underworld Bloodmoon Ceaser.
