Y/N's POV
It's been 5 days since my last session with Hailee.Since that day we haven't met or talk.I sent her a text but there was no response.Then i thought that she could be busy with filming so i didn't bother her anymore.
Yesterday i slept at Olivia's house.It's been a long time since we had a sleepover so we decided to play some games and watch a movie.We talked a lot and drank a lot so most of it was nonsense.
I woke up at 2pm and saw that Olivia was still sleeping.I had to wake her up cause she had work to do and so did i.None of us had the energy to cook anything so we just ate cereals.
Olivia went to shower and i was sitting on the balcony enjoying the view and scrolling through my phone.I checked my messages to see if Hailee had texted or at least read them but nope.There wasn't any sign of her.
"Alright Liv i'm heading to the gym i've some things to take care of.I'll see you."i say and hug her.
"See you soon."she says and i leave.
Hailee's POV
After my training was over i immediately had to start shooting for the show.It was exhausting cause i didn't have enough time to sleep so that little break i had i would rest my eyes.
Today we got a day off and i was so happy i finally get to go home and sleep.I love my job more than anything but it's exhausting.I hadn't seen Martini for 5 days and i miss her a lot.I told Griffin if he could take care of her and i'm so thankful he was available.I miss Y/N too.I've been meaning to talk to her but i didn't have any time.I'll talk with her after i get home.
"Mommy's homeee."i say as soon as i step in my house.Martini was waiting for me at the front door and i was so excited to see her.
"Did you miss me?Cause i missed you a lott."i say as i play with her.
I poured her some water on her bowl and put some eggs to boil.It's weird how much she likes them but she deserves them today.
While waiting for the eggs i checked my phone and saw that y/n had texted me.I feel really bad that i ignored her i didn't want to it's cause i didn't have any time.

After talking with y/n i prepared the eggs for Martini and went to shower before y/n comes.It felt so good showering after 5 longssss day it made me feel more relaxed.I got off the shower and putted on some shorts and a hoodie.I didn't dry my hair cause i was to lazy.When i was about to sit down the door bell rang.
"Hey Steinfeld."i open the door and see her with two bags on her hands.
"Hey y/l/n."i say and we both hug.
Her arms were tight around me,like a big soft bear hug.She makes me feel safe.Everything around us doesn't matter when we're together and i like that.
If it means that i get hugs like that every time i work a lot than imma keep doing that.
"I've missed you."i whispered on her ear.
"I've missed you too."she says and i can feel her warm breath on my skin.We stay like that for a while and then let go of each other.
"Now since you are tired i got this.You just sit and let me do my thing."
"No i can't let you do this alone.I'll feel bad."
"Shhhhhh i got this."she says and takes my hand to sit down.
While she's cooking i put himym and start watching it.It's so hard to focus because watching her cook is the cutest thing ever.She's herself and looks really confident in what she's doing.From the smell i can tell that the food is going go beamazing.
"Y/N the smell of this is killing me.Are they ready?"
"Yes they're."she fills two plates and two glasses of wine and points to eat out on the balcony.
"Miss your dinner is ready."she says acting like a waiter and pulls my chair.
"Thank you m'am."i say staying in role.
"Not to be dramatic or anything but this is the best pasta i've ever eaten."i say and drink from my glass.
"Oh stop it.You're making me blush."
"You're the best cooker ever and i judge cookers by the pasta they make.And this is the best one.You're on the top of my list."
"Well thank you Steinfeld.I'm glad i'm your favorite."
"A toast to the best pasta maker."i say and we both laugh and cheer.
"Thank you for this.I was really tired and i needed this."
"That's what i'm here for."she says and puts her hand on mine.I can feel butterflies down my stomach and we stare at each others eyes.It's a deep intense eye contact.
She gets up and i'm looking at her weirdly.
"Now i know you're tired but can i have your hand for a dance."she says and get's down in one knee.
"I would love to dance with you."
The way you look tonight by Tony Bennett is playing.
We get close to each other.She puts one hand down my waist and with the other holds my hand.I put one of mine behind her shoulder and the other is holding hers.Y/N leads the way and i follow.She is a little bit taller than me so i have my head up to look at her.
The sunset makes this moment unforgettable.We sway back and forth slowly with the rhythm of the music.Y/N spins me around and we both let out a laugh.Her smile is like a sudden beam of sunlight illuminating the darkest corners of the room.It's extremely pleasant and lovable.
I placed both of my hands on her shoulders and she placed hers on my waist.We go back to the same eye contact we had at the dinner table expect this time-

A/N:ahhhhh i love this chapter.Anyway did y'all watch the Vmas yesterday.I literally cried when taylor announced the new album still can't belive it's real.And when they played Hailee's song Coast for a short minute🫦🫦🫦Also blackpink KILLED ITTT.
