Chapter 6

Sun POV

As we approach the top of the mountain I start to get more and more anxious. I take notice that Moon saw this because she starts to hum and sing songs that she knows will help to calm me down.

I know that Moon has probably already guessed why I hated this area but had no memories of the time. Seeing her in the hospital had set me on edge and it was obvious to everyone that I was far from good.

It took weeks after her recovery for me to be able to even think about trusting the other Wielders. Not that it was any of their faults and they noticed that I was just stressed about my twin. They were all really understanding and none held grudges. They actually helped me learn things so that I could waste time.

I am fine with going on the trial because Moon was really considering and chose the best path with little foliage despite it not being the direct path. I am also glad that she chose to tell me beforehand what to expect. I am glad that she chose to allow me to be part of her adventures.

Honestly it scares me that she allowed me to come with her when she hasn't done all the exploring. She is a really good listener and it seems that she understands why I want to go with her.

We had been working through the vegetation for around two hours now, meaning we only have around an hour left of climbing until we are at the top of the mountain. At this point we come across one of the last relatively flat parts of the mountain. Moon motions for me to sit. Looks like it is time for a small break.

When Moon looked at the schedule she planned to have around thirty minutes of resting period in the beginning outside of meals. We only took around a ten minute break before because it was actually steep where we were. We won't eat until we have arrived at the top. But for now we have twenty minutes to relax.

T: ... Thank you for coming with me, I understand how scary this must be for you. I think I know why you don't like it. But I am not going to ask anything.

I glance up at her before looking back down, Moon understands so much how much I struggle with doing this. She is willing to help me without keeping me out of the loop.

Alt føles så surrealistisk, jeg føler, at jeg bare bliver ved med at gå tilbage, som om noget forfærdeligt skal ske igen." I finally say out loud. Finally voicing what I feel is going on.
T: Thank you, I... This feels so weird... I don't know what to say. I feel like something is missing but I don't know what it is. Everything feels so surreal, I feel like I just keep going back, like something horrible is going to happen again.

I don't want to ever see her , or anyone for that matter, in the same situation. Seeing her laying there lifeless is traumatizing. Not knowing if she was going to make it. Watching her heart monitor stopping and spiking over and over again. Seeing all the professional wielder healers not knowing what was going on.

It got to the point where they had to bring in some other healers. Healers from the other communities. Not only did the Royal Alpha and Luna come with their royal healer, but the Royal Vampires and Witches all brought their healers. The best healers from around the entire world couldn't figure out what was wrong.
