"It's my parent's plan."

"What plan?" I said with my voice that was shaking, eager to know the truth about our marriage.

"Your parents stole our company after the huge bet they did. After that, my parents started to do something to bring your parent's company down. After your parents died, they remembered that they have a son so instead, they asked Mr. Clarke to file an arranged marriage contract including me and you to even take revenge on your family." Zavien said as he explained everything.

"Revenge..." I said while sobbing, trying to process everything.

"I'm sorry that you have to go through thi-"

"Who are you," I asked, trying to know who he is.

"What do you mean?" He asked before he stood up, walking closer to me as I looked at him with my eyes wide open, still crying.

"Do I know you before?" I asked.

"It's for you to fi-"

"Cut it, Zave," I said, calling him by his nickname.

"You still remembered me?" He was shocked as he heard the nickname that I gave to him when we were young. All this time, I thought it was my parents' fault that I go through this but no, It's Mr. and Mrs. Silvius. The real owner of our company.

"If we can meet again, Zave, Tell me our secret word in case I forgot you," I said, looking up to the lake as I was sitting beside Zavien.

"If you knew me, call me by my nickname. You're the only one who can call me by that nickname because you suggested it." Zavien said as he chuckled before he sigh.

"Do you have to leave?" I asked for the 10th time.

"I already told you, our parents were not on good terms," Zavien said as he was trying not to cry.

"Zavien? Where are you?" Someone shouted from the distance and we already knew it was one of Zave's Maid.

"Let's meet again, Andrew," Zave said before he stood up and went to the source of the noise.

"Coming!" He shouted back before he left my sight.
