"Brian? Briiiiiiiaannnn?? Bri?" Brian was snapped out of his thoughts by Roger calling his name. "Are you gonna finish telling me or...?" "Nope. That's all. Goodnight now." Brian rushed Roger out of the door. He slid down the door, brought his knees to his chest, and put his face in his hands.
Roger stood on Brian's doorstep, not processing what had just happened. He was hurt. Brian used to tell him everything. He slowly walked to his car, still in a daze. What could possibly be bothering him? As far as Roger knew, everything was fine. Although, now that he thought about it, Brian had been quieter lately. He only talks to Roger when Roger initiates the conversation. He talks to Freddie and John like normal. Now he was positive that something was wrong.
Brian ignored Roger the next week or so at the studio. Roger tried talking to him but was met with either a short response or none at all, and he was tired of it.
Because this went on for so long, the others started to notice. Freddie decided to confront him about it one day. "Tell me why you're ignoring Roger, Brian." He said crossing his arms over his chest. "What do you mean? Why would I ignore Roger?" "I don't know. That's why I'm asking you." Brian inhaled deeply the mumbled something inaudible. "What was that?" Freddie asked raising an eyebrow. "I said I'm in love with him! There! Are you happy now?!" he yelled storming out.
Brian regretted walking out immediately. For one, it was freezing out and he didn't grab his jacket. And two, he just told Freddie something that nobody was supposed to ever know.
