Inside the darkly lit Grab & Bag grocery store, the five identical photos of Simon hung on a hall, dedicated to the Employee of the Month.
In the pharmacy, Simon and Declan gathered bottles and boxes and then stood behind a counter where the others were, "A few months ago, my brother Timothy had an unfortunate experience in which he ingested too much of a certain substance. He was dead for two minutes. But," Simon banged on the counter as a drum roll, "We got him back!" Simon told them.
"Kate. It's time for your close-up," Deena said to her friend.
Kate smiled before she began organising the pills as Simon told Sam what to do, Lana and Deena listened to him, "You need to take these in order. Pile one takes the edge off. You're gonna feel like you're being fucked by a unicorn," He brought pile two closer when Kate had finished with it, "Pile two is gonna bring your core temp way down. You may feel slightly sick," Sam nodded, "Now," Pile three was ready and Simon gestured to it, "You need to take a five-minute interval between pile two and pile three. That's really important okay? Pile three brings you down and out, so you gotta take that 'take five' or it's all gonna go to shit!" Simon said.
"That's a lot," Sam said.
"So, pile one then two, then five minutes, then pile three," Danny said.
"Yeah," Simon said as he nodded.
"Simple enough," Lana said.
Declan looked at his friend, "You two got all that?" Declan asked.
"Yeah, pretty simple when it's not your life," Danny said as Lana nodded.
"How many of these do we have?" Kate asked as she held up EpiPens.
"Tons. Like a thousand," Simon said.
"Wait. EpiPens?" Deena asked.
"Epinephrine, also known as adrenaline. This is what brings her back. This is Jesus!" Simon exclaimed.
"Or go old school and do CPR," Lana said.
"This is quicker," Simon said.
"Alright... EpiPens it is," Danny said.
"Right, okay... We need to distract the killers as Dee and I... Basically, as we kill Sam," Lana said.
"We need more of Sam's blood," Danny said.
Deena and Sam got to work on making some bloody water again and everyone but Deena and Lana put some blood on them. Lana was bandaging Sam up, "You good?" Sam asked.
"Me? You're the one about the die, you okay?" Lana asked.
"Yeah... Are you? You seem off," Sam said.
"There are some things you lot don't know about us and it's pretty off-putting stuff," Lana said.
"You're helping to save us, I think whatever you two have to tell us, we'd understand," Declan said as he overheard.
"Okay... When this is over and we've rested... We'll all go out for burgers and we'll talk," Lana said.
