Serkan breathed a long sigh: the truth was that he didn't know what to do either. He was only certain of what he didn't want: he didn't want to be away from Eda anymore.

And to accomplish this, he first had to talk to his father about the long blackmail of Demir bey.

- I will postpone my departure for Dublin: now I have to tell my family everything I lived, to explain that I kept everything hidden not to give my father any problems during the last years before retirement. And we must find a solution together: Demir bey will soon find out about our rapprochement, he has spies everywhere. And I must continue to protect all of you, now without fear.

Eda squeezed his hand, intertwined with hers.

- I want to come with you, Serkan. I will be present during this hard conversation with your family if you want me there, this matters to all of us. And I will be your rock. This is what best friends do.

Serkan smiled at her, his heart more and more in love with Eda every second that passed.

- What did I do to deserve you, Eda Yildiz?
- You broke one of my flower pots the first time you walked into my house! Here's what you did!

Eda replied, laughing and making a funny face to try to dampen the tension.

They were going to deal with the problem that had separated them for two long years and they knew they were going to meet a dark tunnel. But they were each other's light.

- Come on, let's go to the Bolat mansion. They'll be there, it's sunday night and I'm sure they're going to have a great dinner. We'll call Engin along the way, so he can be there too. I know he wasn't busy but he wanted us to be alone!

- My brother is always the same! And Serkan... Speaking of siblings... I need to tell you something... I...

- Eda, I am the one who has to tell you something. Or better, I am the one who has to thank you, once again, for have never left my side. As I said before, I know you helped Selin a lot, she told me. And I will be forever grateful to you for what you did for her, and for me too.

Eda's eyes were smiling.
- You helped me and Engin a lot in the past, and then you involved my brother in your company, knowing it had always been his dream too. So, through these small actions, we kept showing each other, without even knowing, how strong our bond is. And I think it's beautiful.

- I think you are beautiful.
Serkan touched the tip of Eda's nose with his finger, emphasizing the word "you" and getting in return the dimples that were the perfect frame of a gorgeous smile.

- You're not bad too, I have to admit!
Eda smiled with her mouth a few inches from his, getting a series of kisses on her nose, on her dimples, and finally on her lips. But her smile turned into loud laughter when Serkan started tickling her hips.

- I could listen to your laughter forever and never get tired.
- You're the only one who can make me laugh and smile like that, Serkan. And I could do it forever for you.

Eda raised her head to let herself go in an incredible kiss.

- Come on, we have to go to your parents. Stand up, Bolat!
Eda reached out her hand after standing up, so a bored Serkan would follow her example.

Serkan decided to plan everything he need for his return to İstanbul only the next day, one thing at a time.
And first thing first, he needed his car.

So, he decided to call a cab to reach his parents' mansion.

On the way, Eda contacted Engin and explained to him briefly what had happened between them and invited him to dinner, which Engin gladly accepted.
