Rhyaella rolls her eyes as her husband rides into the theatre with all the arragence of a King, Vieserys looks over at his sister who glance back at him with a shrug before looking at her own young children who are eagerly clapping for their father.
Daemon rides up and down the rows of knights before choosing Ser Dawyne Hightower of Oldtown. Everyone looks at Viesrys and the hand of the King before looking at Rhyaella who has her head in her hand and is shaking it in exasperation.
The two knights stay for a minute on each end before racing at each other. The first time around either fall so they go again. But instead of staying honourable Daemon leans down and flips the horse over unseating the Hightower.
The horse squeals in pain and shock as they flip over a while Rhyaella stands in shock watching not caring for the Hightower but for his horse. Otto looks over at her.
'Thank you for caring about my son, Princess' he says
'I don't Ser Hightower' she replies cooly as she sits back down 'I care more for the horse.'
Rhaenyra and Rhaenys snort into their hands as Otto's face flushes red. Alicent looks at Rhyaella in betrayal before looking forwards.
A messanger whispers something into Otto's ear before he can respond to Rhyaella which he then whispers to the King who's face falls before he stands and walks away. Rhyaella watches him go confused before turning and looking back out at the tournament.
Rhyaella watches with amusment as Sers fight each other over a slight before leaning over to whisper into Rhaenyra's ear.
'This is why the women really do all the work, my dear' she says making Rhaenyra smile at her Aunt.
'And the day grows ugly' says Rhaenys to her husband. Rhyaella hums in agreement before turning and starts to braid her daughter's hair who hides her face into her twin's shoulder who rubs her shoulder soothingly.
Rhyaella tunes out the fighting as she braids Helaena's hair. Aemond looks at his mother not understanding how she can tune everything out as she does before looking at his younger sister who has her face hidden in Aegon's shoulder. Aemond looks over at his brother Rhaegar who is watching the fight from the side lines only fighting when someone swings at him.
'Ser Christin Cole' announces Mushroom as the dead body of a knight is dragged away 'will now tilt against Ser Daemon Targaryen Prince of the City.'
The crowd cheers as they ride out. They watch as Daemon is unseated by the unknown knight. Rhyaella hums as her sons stand up in anger as they yell their unhappiness at the out come. Rhaenys leans over to her cousin.
'Your sons are going to be commanders yet with those lungs'
Rhyaella looks back at her 'Don't I know it, cousin'
Daemon angered starts to fight Ser Christen who fights back gallantly but ultimately looses to Daemon who holds up his hands proudly as the crowd cheer. He looks over at Rhyaella who is clapping her husband with a smile on her face as does their children. He then looks at Rhaegar who nods back to him with a smile on his faces as he gives his father a small clap.
The people in the Royal box look around confused as the small council stands and walks into the castle. Rhyaella however does not move knowing that the Queen is dead.
