Air shut, tight and closed
No ample chance to hand the rose
Borders that he fears to cross
Overwhelming thoughts, he doesn't want to imposeWrapped across the translucent glass
A slim brittle lace, his tainted trust
How long will he hold back? A question often asked
As if speaking was a challenge, a daunting taskTo even raise a finger, sends chill down his spines
A lump on his throat, keeping him there, frozen in time
Tickle to the pride, ego set aside
Nothing gained from wishful thinking, courageously he stride
