Part 1 Chapter 8: The Test

We followed our new sensei out the academy then he said. Keep up. Then he ran from us. I made sure Naruto was with us then we all ran after him. I was a good six feet behind the man, Yuri was in front of me, and Naruto was right beside me. We were going pretty fast but i knew our sensei was going easy on us.

After a few minutes we made it to a training area. I was tired a little, Yuri was on her nees, and Naruto was not tired at all. Naruto was born different. Alright take a seat you three. Cough. Cough. Hayate sensei said. We did as he said and he did the same. Now why dont you tell me about yourselves. Cough. Cough. Your name, Likes, dislikes, hobbies, and dreams you may have. He said.

He then looked at me. You first. Cough. He said. Yo my name is Astora Bushida. I like my family, friends, drawing, dogs, and swords. I dilike people who dont know the difference between a kunai and the scroll its sealed in, haters, and my sister when shes on her dot. I got punched by said sister when i said that. My dream is to be the next shinobi no kami. I said.

Ok. Cough. Now you. He said looking at Yuri. Hi my name is Yuri Bushida. I like my family, friends, and learning new things. I dislike haters, idiots, my little brother, and Sasuke. My dream is to be the greatest suiton user ever. She said. Cough. Cough. Ok now you. Hayate sensei said looking at Naruto.

Im Naruto Uzumaki! I like Ramen, my friends, and learning cool jutsu! I dislike, haters, Sasuke teme, and how long it takes to make cup ramen! My dream is to be Hokage! Datebayo! He said. Alright. Cough. Cough. Im giving you test, it will determine if i send you back to the academy or not. He said.

I covered Narutos mouth because he was going to say something stupid. You have until the end of the day to find me and beat me. Cough. Hayate sensei said. Rhe test starts now. He said then shunshined away. Alright lets do this. I said. Wait i thought we were already genin! Naruto said. No were not dumbass, three jutsu dosnt make you genin. I said smacking him upside the head. Alright can we focus now. Yuri said. Sigh yea i guess. Naruto said.

Menwhile, in a tree less than a mile away, Hayate was watching them. Lets see what these kids can do. Cough. Cough. He said. Back with the gang. Alright Yuri can you smell him at all. I asked. Yuri has a good sense of smell so she will be a great asset to us. Very faintly, follow me. She said. We ran in the direction Yuri was going. I had my ears wide open. Hayate was impressed. He didnt think Yuri would have such a good sense of smell. He then made a kage bushin and ran off.

Back with the gang. I sensed a slight surge of chakra ahead of us so i discretry signaled my friends to it. Yuri noded to me. Naruto was tensing his muscles ready for a fight. We saw Hayate sensei in front of us but i was listening and looking at the surrounding area. You guys attack forst. I said. Naruto tok that chance to send three kage bushin at Hayate sensei. Yuri performed a water whip jutsu.

While they were fighting and not really making any progress, i sat with my eyes closed listening. I looked around erlier and saw nothing. So im using my ears now. I tuned out the fighting around me and heard a slight cough in a tree about one hundred feet away. I opened my eyes and saw a kick inches away from my face. In a slpit second i caught Hayate senseis leg with dificulty while simultaneously drawing my sword on my back. I whent to stab but Hayate sensei blocked it with his sword.

I screamed. Guys this is a shadow clone, the real Hayate is in a tree one hundred feet north! Naruto and Yuri noded. And headed in that direction. I was locked in sword combat with the clone though. You got some decent kenjutsu, Astora. He said. I learned from my aunty. I said slashing upwards. Haye sensei leaned back just enough than said. Secret sword moon light. He dashed twords me and was in front me in less then a second he slashes his sword in a later motion cutting my chest. I winced but didnt say anything. I took his suprised face as a chance to stab him with three quick trikes to the chest, head, and neck. Compase needles. I said. Then the clone poofed in a ploom of smoke.

Menwhile Naruto and Yuri were aproching fast Hayate simply used a substitution jutsu replacing himself with a log. Naruto who was closest smacked into it. Yuri who saw were Hayate whent, quickly changed directions and made a b line to Hayate. Using water whips to lach on to trees and increase her speed she was infront of Hayate in seconds. Hayate just said. Secret sword moon light. Slashing Yuris chest. Aaah! She screamed in pain. Hayate just kicked her away, but behin Yuri was Naruto with his wind blade in his right hand and a kunai his left.

Hayate doged all the strikes with ease then he got the memmlries of his clone. He was suprised and impressed that Astora was able to fight through the pain and beat his clone. Behind Hayate Yuri yelled. Suiton: Mizubōsō! A giant wave of water ruched twards Hayate. Naruto got out of the way, having noticed Yuri. Hayate jumped up out of the way then heard. Katon endan! Above him. When he looked up he saw a large stream of fire coming twards him fast. Since he wasnt able to escape in time, he slashed the fire stream with his sword, getting slighty burned im the process. Naruto then made about seventeen shadow clones, who all tackled Hayate. Yuri took this chance to trap him in a watter juts. Astora appered behind Hayate with a sword to his neck. We did it. He said simply.
