Part 1 Chapter 32: Found Tsunde

Hey, Jiraiya. I can here Orochimaru talking in the distance. Jiraiya looked at me suprised. Where. He said seriously. I closed my eyes and focused. East i think. I said. We ran over to where i heard him, but he was gone. Sigh. Looks like were too late Jiraiya said. Did the snake do this to? Naruto asked. I dunno? Lets go you two. Were finding Tsunade, today. Right. I said. Not again. I was hopeing  he forgot about her Naruto mummbled to himself. It was night time now and my feet hurt. This is ridiculous. Howlong are you gonna drag us around? Im starting to wonder if this old lady even exist. Naruto said. Oh be quiet. We'll find her and if we don't were shaving Jiraiya i said. What? Jiraiya asked. Nothing. I said with an evil grinn. Naruto also gained evil grinn wich scared Jiraiya.

Why don't we get a bite to eat here? Huh?! Its a tavern. So what? Just dont dink anything. I said while walking in. Hey! Astora! Welcome! A man said. I nodded to him. Why are we even eating at this stinky place? Natuto said. Jeeze do you ever stop whining. This is just the sort of place where you can pick up information. Then Jiraiya locked eyes with a blonde woman. Tsunade?! He yelled. Jiraiya?! Sge yelled back. Huh?! Naruto said. Oh, finally. I muttered. What the--? Why are you here? She asked. Finally. I've been looking every where for you. Oh, should have known you'd be in here. Jiraiya said. We sat down at Tsunades table and ate in silence. I locked eyes with Tsunade for no reason. Its like a reunion. All yalls faces at the same time.

Jiraiya slurped his drink. You mean Orochimaru. So what happend? Jiraiya asked. I looked at the pig and licked my lips. The pig got scared. Oh, nothing much. He said hello, thats it. Tsunade said. He wanted you to heal his arms. I thought. I didn't say it aloud because i could use this fact at a latter date if needed. Tsunade pulled some cards from her left bood and shuffled them around. Well then why have you been looking for me? I'll cut to the chase. Jiraiya said while shuffleing some cards. Tsunade, in it's wisdome the village has come to the decision to name you as the Fith Hokage. He said. I actually didn't know that, i just knew we were searching for her for whatever reason.

Naruto's eyes widened and he almost choked on the fish he was eating. Tsunade's friend also looked shocked. Oh, wait Naruto actually is choking. You all right? I asked as i smacked his back hard saving him. Yea now i am. He said while rubbing the back of his head. Jiraiya lifted his hand of cards to his face. You heard about the Third Hokage. Tsynade pulled her hand up to her face as well. It was Orochimaru's doing, right? I heard about it. In fact, he told me himself. Naruto's eyes furrowed. Hold on a second. You're saying he's the one who killed the old man? Naruto asked. I looked at Tsunade for confirmation. Who is this Orochimaru guy? I smacked the back of his head. He's the guy that attacked me and Yuri in the chunin exams.

I figured out he was with oto and persuaded him to not kill me remeber? I said. Oh yea, that did happen. Naruto said. Tsunade looked shocked. Did you just say you persuaded him not kill you. She asked. Yea, it's not that hard just choose the correct words and your good. I said. Wait hes a sannin like you two right? So then why your all from the leaf village, right? Naruto said. Why'd he do it? Who's this brat you've got with you? Tsunade asked. Jiraiya chuckled. He's Naruto Uzumaki. He said. The future Hokage. I added. Tsunade looked shocked a little bit by this. Okay, wait a second! I havn't finished yet. There's something about this im still not getting. So this guy, you know he's the one who murdered the Third Hokage, what have you done about it?

Hes a sannin, hes one of you guy's. Why's he still walking around? Why havn't you caught him? And oh, yeah, what's the deal about her being the Fith Hokage?  Naruto said. Naruto, sit down and shut up. Jiraiya said. Absolutley not. Jiraiya stared at Naruto. Sit down. Naruto did so. I leaned into Naruto and whispered. This'll all be explained latter just be patient and listen. I said. Naruto noded. Jiraiya and Tsunade got back to there game. I'll say it once again. The leaf village has made it's decision. They have chosen you to be the Fith Hokage. So what's your answer? Do you accept it, Tsunade? Jiraiya asked. I crossed my arms and stared at Tsunade wanting an answer as well. Well, im waiting. What do you say?

Jiraiya asked once more. Naruto groaned. I don,t understand any of this. I patted him on the back. In time you will. I said. Tsunade threw don her cards. Impossible. I decline. She said. Jiraiya just smiled. You know, it's kind of funny. That rings a bell. I remember you saying thoseber words the first, and only time, i ever asked you out. I snorted at that. Naruto groaned and was about to speak, but i just covered his mouth. Hush child. I said. Don,t worry Naruto. She knows she can't refuse. There can be no one else. There was no one who contribited more to the leaf's victory in the great war. She combines unrivaled skills as a warrior, with the abillity to heal others. What's more she is the granddaughter of the very first Hokage, so in herritage and abillities, she is the clear and only choice to be the Fith Hokage.

And once she accepts her destiny, wich she will, then she'll have to come back with us to the village and there heal your friends. You see, it's all been carefully thought out by the highest councils of the village. No offense, but it's not something an underaged genin is expected to understand. Jiraiya explained. But i understood. I thought. Ha. You're slipping Jiraiya. Tsunade said. This apprentice isn't at all like your last one. Hes a fool with a big mouth. Funny looking to. Oh, yeah? Naruto retorted. Well, to be fair, it'd be hard for anyone to measure up to that standard. The Fourth Hokage showed all the signs of bexoming the greatest ninja in generations, brimming with talent and natural abillity.

Brilliant, popular, and to top it off,  nearly as handsome as his teacher. Jiraiya said. Oh, shut up. I thought. Oh, sure, but all that didn't save him from dying young. Tsunade said. Throwing his life away all for the sake of the village. Money's one thing, a life's another. To risk your life against all the odds, that's a sucker's bet. Naruto got made and snapped his chopsticks in half. I also got annoyed to be honest. My grandfather and his succesor, they were also willing to die to deffend the village. Well, there both dead all right, and the village is no safer than it ever was.
