Part 1 Chapter 23: Astora Vs Midas

Oh, i forgor to mention this, but it will be individual battles from now on. Hayate sensei said. That dosnt make me feel any better. I thought. Sasuke kun, you should quite these preliminaries. Sakura said. Huh? He said. L-look you havnt been your self ever since you faught that Orochimaru guy. She said. Shut up. Sasuke said. I understand. Sakura said. Be quiet. Sasuke repeated. Hey Sakura. I whispered. Huh? She said. Let him fight if he wants to. What ever happens is on him. Aint that right Sasuke. I said. Yes. Sasuke said. Bu-but. I put a hand on her shoulder. Let the man fight. I said. She wiped her eyes and noded.

Exuse me... ill quite. Kabuto said raising his hand. This is only proving the fact hes a spy. I thought. Lets see... Cough. Cough. Kabuto Yakushi of the leaf village, correct? Then you may step back. Hayate sensei said. Ok. He said. Kabuto! Why are you quiting!? Tell me why! Naruto asked. Im sorry, Naruto but my body is worn out. Kabuto said. Bull shit. I thought. Dont take arbitrary actions. Have you forgoton orochimarus orders? Kabutos teamate said. I leave it to you guys. Kabuto said. They got something planned and we arent gonna be ready for it. I thought. I then tuned out and day dreamed then tuned back in and almost forgot where i was.

Now then, we will begin the preliminaries. The preliminaries to come are one on ome individual battles. In other words,actual battle format. Hayate sensei said. Hurry up!!!! I thought. There are exactly twenty six people, so there will be thirteen battles. The winner will be able to advance to the third exam. There are no rules. You will fight untill one of you die, collapse, or admit defeat. He said. Ok got it. I thought then tuned out once more. When i tuned back in the first fight was between Sasuke Uchiha and Yoroi Akado. Oh, interesting. I thought. I looked at Sasuke. Beat the ever lasting life out of him. I said. Sasuke noded. Like i would do any less. He said.

Me and my team all whent upstairs along with every one else to watch the fight. This will be interesting i thought. Sauke and Yoroi started the fight qith shuriken and kunai. Yoroi quickly flosed the distance between them, but Sasuke caught him in an arm lock. He did it! Naruto said. Then Yoroi grabed Sasuke and a blue glow eminated from his hand. I assumed he was some how sucking up his chakra, then he punched Sasuke and lept back. Sasuke was struggling to even breath but he caught himself. Yoroi lept twards Sasuke and pinned him down grabbing his face. He sucked up his chakra until Sasuke kicked him off. Sasuke staggered to his feet and Yoroi lunged at him.

Sasuke dodgged Yorois attempts to grab gim. Then Sasuke smirked and vanished. He hit Yoroi with an upwards kick and started to pumle him with pure taijutsu. He lept in the air below Yoroi but then he xoughed up blood. The curse mark he got started to cover him but Sasuke pushed it back. He kicked Yoroi wich he blocked then he immediatly punched Yoroi. On there way down, Sasuke hit Yoroi with an axe kick. Sasuke stumbled back and fell but got back up on his knees. The winner of the first preliminarie match is, Sasuke Uchiha. Some people cheered but i didnt. Kakashi Hatake appeared behind Sasuke and took him away. I assumed it was for the curse mark he has.

The next match was between Shin Aburame and Zaku Abumi. I tuned out this fight because bugs make me feel off. I tuned back in and Shino blew off Zakus arm. Zaku tried to punch him with his remaining arm, but Shino gave him a back hand punch and won. Next was Kankuro of the desert and Misumi Tsurugi. This fight was weird to me. Kankuro used puppets and Misumi could bend and extend his body like he didnt have bones. Kankuro won by crushing the man with his giant ass puppet. Next match was Sakura Haruno vs Ino Yamanaka... so i tuned out. The next match was Tenten vs Temari of the desert.

Yenten threw a bunch of kunai and shuriken at Temari, but Temari just blew them away with her fan. Tenten jumped into the air with two scrolls  and spun around. A bunch of weapons came out flying but Temari just repeated her first move. This whent on until Tenten landed on Temaris fan and broke her back. Temari wins. Hayate sensei said. Next was me vs Midas apparently. Go get him Sora! Naruto yelled. Sure, whatever. I said. I jumped down and Midas did the same. No hard feelings? Midas asked. None at all. Fight your heart out. I said. Fight! Hayate sensei said.

Midas rushed at me with a kunai and i did the same. We clashed in the middle and i could immediatly tell he was weaker than me. Not by much, but still noticeable. He was very adept at knife fighting though. He jumped back and performed a earth bullet jutsu. I stood my ground and slashed though them all with my kunai. I got grazed by a couple but i wasnt haemed. I rushed at him and threw shuriken. Three of the four hit but Midas didnt seem to care. He threw two kunai in my right shoulder and left leg. My right arm immediatly stopped working. Nice shot. I said. Thanks, but please stop holding back. He said.

I noded and used my left hand to grab my sword. I qsnt left handed but i could still try. I rushed at him and he rushed at me. Compase needles. I said. And stabbed him five times in specific spots. Two in both shoulders, two in both legs, and one in stomach. None were fatal if treated, but he wouldnt be able to move for a day and a half. Gah!! He yelled. I caught him as he fell and sat him down. The winner is Astora Bushida! Hayate sensei said. I got some cheers from people and even Midas got cheers from other people. The medic nin came and i set him on the stretcher. Cough. Tell me what happens after this. He said with a bloody smile. I will. I said.
