She honestly couldn't remember anything Dumbledore had said. They had been sorted into Slytherin but was that a surprise? The murmurs from the whole school didn't stop the whole dining experience.
So here she was. In her dorm which she shared with Pansy, a Girl named Daphne and Millicent. She stood there fixing her hair early in the morning in the mirror. She wore a black skirt and white shirt with a green tie.
Daphne stood there watching the girl but when she looked over to her and looked away. "We have to go to breakfast, I think we have Defense against the dark arts first" Pansy said and she nodded fixing her hair one more time and they left the room.
She entered the common room where Mattheo, Draco, Theo and another boy were sitting. "Well you must be the girl Theo had told me all about" The other boy said walking up to Katerina.
"Blaise Zabini" he said extending his hand. He reeked of pureblood supremacy and elegance. Not a mark was on his robes. "Katerina Malfoy" she said shaking his hand. He smiled at her. He looked nice enough.
"We're going to breakfast you can't come" Pansy screamed and her and Katerina walked out. "Don't mind Daphne. I seen the way she was looking. She and her sister are hopelessly in love with Draco. She's probably just scoping out competition." Pansy said.
"I'm basically his sister" she said disgusted. "When has that ever stopped Purebloods" she said and Katerina gagged making Pansy laugh. "I'm happy you're not one of those Draco fanatics." She said and Katerina scrunched up her eyebrows.
"In this world, you either obsess over Draco Malfoy, you absolutely hate him or you don't care. There's no in between" she said. "I don't understand-"
"You will soon enough" Pansy said but her eyes were somewhere else. "Hey Granger, you hair is looking awfully like a nest today. Can my own use it as a bed?" She screamed out and Katerina looked at where she was screaming at. A girl with very large hair looked her way and rolled her eyes. She had two boys with her. One with bright Red hair whom looked like he wanted to kill Pansy and one with dark Raven hair.

She examined him. He had a goofy smile on his face as he walked with his two friends. She saw him look her way quickly so she smiled softly and waved a little hi before walking with Pansy.
"Did she just wave at you?" Ron asked Harry whom quickly snapped his head towards him with a slight blush. "What? Oh no I think it was towards someone else"
"No no no that was definitely towards you" Ron said as they walked. Harry walked away and hummed and Hermione looked at him. "You don't fancy her do you?" He asked.
