On the very cold day of October 31st, 1981; James and Lily Potter passed away at the age of  21, leaving behind 3 month old Harry Potter also then known as the boy who lived. Everybody knows that story. The story of a baby boy defeating the greatest dark wizard of all time. It was a story that mothers told their children at night.

On that very same dark day. Two children were born. Twins. To the very same dark wizard who had been defeated that day. To a mother who had lost that same day. His followers; not knowing what to do with the devils children in their hand; did what they knew best.

They hid them.

Far, far away.

So here we are.

At a muggle orphanage in a small orphanage in a cold small village in Russia. Two kids who were casted at out cast from the very moment they were there. Mostly for the fact that they didn't talk very much to anybody but themselves. They learned to walk, talk, and even fight very quickly. They had to do what they needed to do to defend themselves.

That's what got them noticed after all.

On a summer day in 1991 something happened that would change their life forever.

They had been outcasted as I said before. Some children there knew better to get on their bad side...especially because one may have a bit of a temper. But nobody thought it would ever go so far.

They watched as the small skinny dark haired girl brought down a boy 4x her size and repeatedly stabbed him with play scissors.

In her defense....he did call her brother stupid.

The nuns watched in horror as the blood scattered the front lawn. The police came and escorted them away and held them in a holding cell until court. News spread around the village and everybody knew.

Everybody.

A women with long blonde hair and the darkest eyes she had ever seen came to the cell. The little girl didn't move.

"I can take you away. Make you safe." The women said and the little girl looked at her sleeping brother and looked back at the women.

"I'm not going unless he's going" the little girl spoke in Russian. It was the first words she had spoken to the older women and the words were spoken so harshly it was like she was speaking to another women her age.

"You both will be very safe. I promise you. All you have to do is take my hand" she said reaching out her hand through the cell. The little girl hesitated. Not even knowing this women. How could she be trusted.

But then she looked at her little brother and the cut on his nose that will be permanently there forever. All she wants for him is to be safe.

Safe and protected.

The little girl got up and grabbed the womens hand shaking it.

"I'm very happy you have decided to join our family. Do you two have names?" The women spoke.

She shook her head No and the women smiled again. "We will decide your names when we leave. Could you wake him for me...

"We have a lot of business to attend to"
