"Why do you dress like that?" Pansy asked as she leaned on her friend. They sat on top of the astronomy tower. Pansy was endlessly talking to Katerina who only hummed once in a while to make her believe she was listening. Her mind was somewhere else though. She delved into this muggle book she had took from a first year. She swore she was going to give it back but she had found it interesting. She couldn't understand why they couldn't just put aside their differences and let Romeo be with his one true love Juliet.

"Are you even listening to me?" Pansy asked leaning up to look at her. Katerina looked up with eyes that were watering from not blinking. She didn't want to miss any of the book...

"No" she said and Pansy huffed out taking the book from her hand. "you need to listen to me! you are like the only girl friend I have which I can vent to about my problems and not get back lash for it" she huffed and Katerina looked at the book and sighed looking at Pansy. "what was the question again?"

"It doesn't matter! I was trying to talk to Daphne and do you know what she did...She laughed in my face. I can't even understand why she would do that! We were fine before she found out I was gay. Oh god I hope she doesn't tell my parents. That would be so bad I think they would disown me. Oh my god I would be the next Sirius Black!" she exclaimed and Katerina furrowed her eyebrows.

"Sirius Black?" she said and Pansy gasped. "oh my gosh do you live under a rock?"  Pansy said and Katerina chuckled. "not only is a an famous mass murderer for killing your one true love's parents...he also is technically your cousin..or uncle...I don't know it's all a bit confusing but he is related to Draco's mom making you and him related but he was disowned by his mum."

"why was he disowned.." Katerina started to say but they heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Mattheo came up the stairs with a very pale faced Draco trailing behind. "what are you doing up here?" he asked as he realized the Astronomy tower was occupied.

"I could ask you the same thing"

"I asked first so that means you have to answer first"

"who made up that rule"

"I did"

"that's why it's so stupid" Katerina said making Pansy snort but hold it back as Mattheo looked at her and Draco break a small smile out. Mattheo looked around and picked up the book. "were you reading this?" he asked holding up the book. Katerina stood up. "yes now give it back before your man hands break it"

"Romeo and Juliet. Why are you reading this muggle garbage" he said and Katerina rolled her eyes and tried to yank it but he only lifted it higher. "it's not garbage now give it back before I crucio you" she said and Mattheo laughed and stared down at her. "this mudblood shit mean that much to you that you would cause harm to your only blood brother" he said with a smirk and suddenly she wished that he "magically" caught on fire.

Mattheo then opened the book and started ripping out pages making Pansy gasp and Katerina to run up to him and yank out the book from his hands. "don't be a blood traitor dear sister" he said with a smirk. Tears wanted to shed her eyes but she didn't let them as she brought the book up and hit him hard across the face with it. She stared at him with only hate in his eyes and shoved past him running down the tower as fast as she could.

All she wanted to do was escape her grey reality for a bit and enter a new one. All she wanted was to be someone else...just for the short bit of time it took to finish the book.

But of course...she had to be brought back to her reality.

She was the daughter of a killer.

She was not Juliet

Um I knows it's been a while I'm literally so exhausted but anyways I wrote this on my laptop and I found it way easier to do that way. I also wrote this in between classes in the library so I hope no one saw...that would a bit embarrassing.
