Honesty

(Jacob's POV)

The bell rang for the last period. Jayde's coming over to my house. She can't flip for nothing 😂. I walked to her locker and saw Chris. But, they were arguing. I was wondering what happened but I'm not going to be nosey until Jayde tells me. All I heard was Chris say "You're being really sensitive right now" and Jayde say " Stop talking to me" and "Get outta my face man" then I saw her walk off. She walked towards me and Chris saw that she did. I can tell that he was pissed but I really didn't care. I don't like the way he treats her nowadays. She deserves better. She walked to me and said " I have to stop by my house first. Do you mind? If you do then we can just go straight to your house.". I told her that I didn't mind. I wanted to see her family anyways. It's been a minute.
We walked out the building and started walking towards her house.

Me-Are you okay ?

Jayde-Yea I'm cool.

Me-Talk to me. You know you can talk to me about anything

Jayde- Can I be truly honest ?

Me- I thought you would be 😂

Jayde- I feel like I'm growing apart from Chris. I love him so much.. I do.. but I feel like he's a growing flame. The more I'm around him he gets hotter. He's the light from the fire. But I get burned every time I go back to him when he does something wrong. I feel like his behavior in the relationship is getting worst. But, I love him. It's just a complicated situation.

Me- I understand that you love him. You have a huge heart. I just don't like the way he treats you. You deserve way better.. But, all I can tell you to do is to follow your heart.

That was the best advice I can give her. I care for her and I know she has feelings for me. I'm just gonna let everything flow the way it's supposed to.. I don't want to make her uncomfortable at all.

Jayde- Thanks Jake.. I can always count on you for something. Thanks for being there

She stopped and gave me a hug. I loved hugging her. I just wish she was mine

Me- Come on so I can speak to your family 😂They're my family too

Jayde- okay 😂if you say so

We walked to her house and she took her key and unlocked the door. Right behind us in the drive way was her mom pulling up from work. Of course she waved to me and got out and gave me a hug. She's like my 3rd mom. We went in and we went up to her room.

She grabbed a couple of things and went back down the stairs.

Out of no where her mom, aunt,brother, and grandma were all on the couch. I gave her female family members hugs. Then, I finally met her brother.

Deontae- So you're the boy that my little sister is always with huh ? Come outside with me real quick.

Jayde- Tae stop

Deontae- I just want to talk to him.. All good stuff

At first I was nervous because I saw the tattoos on his arm. We walked outside in the front.

Deontae- What's your name ?

Me- Jacob

Deontae- Jacob.. I'm gonna be honest with you.. I know that my little sister got a boyfriend that I already don't approve of, but, I think she really likes you

Me- For real ?

Deontae- Yea.. I can tell when she's on the phone with you cause her ugly self always blushing 😂but.. if she does plan on leaving Chris for you.. Because I know you like her too.. Can you treat her the way she's supposed to be treated ? She needs as much love as possible.

Me- I would do literally anything for that girl. I feel like she deserves way better.

Deontae- Ite bro.. You cool wit me now. Anything you need just hmu

Jacob- Thanks

Deontae- I'll tell her to come out

He went back in the house and Jayde came out

She asked me questions about the conversations but she didn't need to know.
