The Next Day

(Jayde's POV)

I woke up and forced myself to get ready for school. I was on my way to the bathroom when I found out that it was occupied by my big brother Deontae. Listen... I love dude but he is so irritating 😂. He is always on my back about the littlest things. He's on my back now about Chris. He doesn't really trust him. Of course he's over protective. But, out of everything that has happened, my brother is always right. He's just like me personality wise but we make different decisions. To be honest I'm trying to get ready so I'm gonna need him to hurry up. So, I started banging on the bathroom door.

BANG BANG BANG!

Deontae- MAN WHAT THE----
He stopped his sentence after he opened the door

Me- Tae I gotta get ready before I'm late.

Deontae- I gotta get ready too .. I mean we do go to the same school.

Being the goofy person I am. I yelled to our mom

Me- MAAAA ! YOUR SON WONT LET ME GET IN THE BATHROOM I HAVE TO PEE SO BADDD! HE LOCKED ME OUT!

Deontae- MA SHE LYIN ! SHE TRYNNA STOP ME FROM GETTING READY

We started arguing but in a silly funny way 😂
And I heard mom come up the stairs from the kitchen. She stood at the top step and stared at us.

Mom- What is the problem ? It's too early for all this yelling

Me- Ma I gotta pee and Tae won't let me in

Deontae- Ma she lying she know I'm trynna get ready and she messin up my transition.. see look she got her stuff in her hand

My mom looked at my hand and noticed my hygiene products

Mom- Jay just wait for him to finish. Tae you better hurry up before you both are late

Deontae- Okay ma

With that, he closed the bathroom door. I guess I didn't win this.

Mom- By the time you get finished in the bathroom, breakfast should be ready. Can you be patient for me ?

Me- Sure ma... anything for you.

Mom- That's my girl

She walked back down the steps and I went back into my room. I started to think about Chris' family.. I wonder what was going on. I was getting worried. Why didn't he tell me? Should I be worried you guys ? I really don't know but who knows what it could be. When I got into deep thoughts. My brother knocked on my door and told me the bathroom was clear. I walked down the hall into the bathroom and closed the door. I took a shower and played music while I was getting ready. I played one of my favorite songs. Biggest Fan by Chris Brown gosh I love that song 😩. Tae tried to tell on me for listening to nasty music like that but my mom didn't care 😂. He really didn't wanna hear Chris Brown singing through the house. I think he's jealous. It's funny tho. I finally came out the bathroom, grabbed my book bag and ID out of my room, and ran down the stairs. We were gonna be late for school so I ate as fast as I could and ran out the house with my brother. On the walk there, I got a call thinking that it was Chris, but it was Jacob. I answered

Me- Hello ?

Jacob- Wassup ?

Me- The sky 😐

Jacob- 😂girl

Me- boy 😂now we both what our genders are

Jacob- man I ain't call you for this 😂

Me- Haaa my bad. But, why you call? You need something ?

Jacob- Nah I was just trying to see where you were

Me- Why ?

Jacob- I don't know .. I was just checking on you to see how your morning was

Me- Awww Thanks.. I'm cool tho.. I'll see you at school .. We can talk more there

Jacob- Alright goofy

With that I hung up.. My brother was looking at me crazy

Deontae- Was that Chris ?

Me- Nah

Deontae- Well who was that cause I know that wasn't T

Me- It's this new boy that I've Been cool with for a while now

Deontae- Well I think you like him

Me- What makes you think that ?

Deontae- You were blushing the whole time you were on the phone

Okay I'm not gonna lie.. I really do like Jacob. I feel like the more days I spend with him. My admiration grows stronger. But, I really don't think he feels the same way.. I can't worry about that anyway. I love Chris like I said earlier. But, I feel like he's hiding something. I know he went back and smoked more after he promised me that he wasn't. I can't stop him, those are his decisions.

Me- Well I don't think so

By the time we finished talking, we made it to school. My brother and I split different ways. I went to my locker and he went to his. While unlocking my combination, I noticed Roc, T, and Jake walking my way. I see that Roc and T are holding hands. Yea they kinda got together 😎. He took her on a date and after that, they've been together at the hip.
