Still Falling

(Jayde's POV)

My brother and Jacob had a talk and neither one of them would tell me what it was about😐. They just kept telling me that it was all good stuff. I got a text from Chris saying "Are we still on for breakfast? Let me explain. I'm sorry baby.. please forgive me.". There is nothing to explain. If there is one thing I did learn. If a man hits you once, he will do it again. I have a lot of thinking to do. We were a couple of feet from Jacob's house and his mom came outside. I think she was going to her car but she saw us. She hugged Jacob then she hugged me.

We went in the house.. Jacob grabbed some cookies off the counter and brought them upstairs.. We both had 2. We changed our clothes to practice with the tumbling.

He had 3 mats set up in the basement. First I started with front rolls. Then we got to the harder things. A handstand.

Me- Jacob I'm scared

Jacob- What are you being scared for. its easy

Me- To you it's easy 😒Gosh just help me

Jacob- Awww poor widdle baby. *putting 2 fingers on his face like he's crying*

Me- Shutup and help me

He stood in front of me while I threw my feet in the air.

Me- Please don't let me go 😩

Jacob- Jay if you want to learn I have to let you go so you can balance yourself

We practiced and practiced. After a about 7 times.. I finally got it and I was walking on my hands. I was so happy 😂 When I got back on my feet I was jumping up and down and I jumped on Jacob facing him. I forgot the fact of me having a boyfriend but in that instant I didn't care. He held me by my waist. We looked each other in the eyes. This moment felt so right

(Jacob's POV)

She jumped on me wrapping her legs around me and I held her by her waist so she wouldn't fall. This moment was perfect. Her pretty brown eyes started to glow. We looked deep into each other's eyes. Then her phone started ringing. In our heads it was bad timing. She jumped down and answered. While she was talking she sounded quite upset. When she got off she looked at me with a puppy face.

Me- What's wrong ?

Jayde- The concert got canceled because the director has the flu.. I know it's bad to be sick when it's warm outside.

Me- Awnnn Well how bout we do something. Wanna go to NavyPier?

(If you don't know what Navy Pier is.. Its a really fun place to go by Lake Michigan near downtown Chicago)

Jayde- OMG you would take me there ?

Me- Yea anything for you ☺️

Jayde- You want to go straight after school ?

Me- Yep that's perfect

Jayde- Chris asked me to go out to breakfast with him tomorrow morning. But, I'm not going.

Me- Why not ?

Jayde- I don't really wanna talk about it right now.

Me- Ok .. wanna go watch movies in my room?

Jayde- Sure why not 😊

I grabbed her hand and took her to the third floor to my room. She sat on the bed and I pulled out a box full of movies. She chose Beyond the Lights. A love story. I actually really like the movie. When she handed me the movie case, I saw something on her arm.

Me- Jay ..

Jayde- Yea ?

Me- What's that on your arm?

Jayde- Oh umm I burned myself with the iron

I know she was lying because that mark wasn't there this morning in 1st period

Me- Oh be careful next time

I wonder what really happened to her. I put the movie in. I went downstairs to get us some Kool aid and popcorn. During the movie I set my back up against the headboard and she scooted in between my legs so her back was towards my face. She layed back on my stomach. Her hair was in my face so I moved it out the way in a dramatic fashion. That made her laugh of course. She's so silly. I played with her hair during the movie. When I didn't feel like playing with it, I just wrapped my arms around her stomach. I just really wish this girl was mine. I feel so complete with her.
