Well, hello there my beautiful magnets!

How are you all doing? How is May treating you?

I'm sorry I couldn't update on Monday. But I'm here now!

Now, for those who didn't see. I published a new book on Amazon. (The link is in my bio) It includes most of my best short stories and one shots. (Confess my, RAD beta version, Dirt, etc.) And it also has a lot of illustrations inside, made by my best friend.

If you didn't check it out yet, now's the time :)

Now, I hope you're enjoying this book as much as I am. I'm actually really proud of this story and it definitely has a place in my heart already.

Thanks for sticking with me after everything, you guys are the best.

2014

I recovered from the time jump rather quickly, but the second I took in my surroundings, I got overwhelmed.

The place we were at was crowded. People walking, tables one next to the other, leaving tiny halls for the people to mingle. A huge stage on one side, audience all around and above the tables, famous people passing through us, champagne and wine in everyone's hands, a guy speaking on a microphone on the stage, screens everywhere and waiters coming and going through the tables.

After coming from a calm memory, this seemed pretty sensorially overwhelming.

"Is this the Brits?" - I asked Emily, noticing someone on stage, with a little statue on their hands, thanking someone on the microphone.

"Yes."

"Why?" - I frowned, not even seeing where my younger self was seated, not finding any other member of the band in the crowd either.

She rolled her eyes.

"You'll see." - She said, starting to walk through the tables.

I simply followed her, keeping my questions for later.

We finally reached the table they were at. My younger self, Liam and Harry, seated and talking to each other. Niall - with the help of his crutches because of his knee surgery - and Zayn standing and facing the table next to theirs, speaking to another artist.

I got closer, taking Niall's empty seat and trying to listen to the conversation my younger self was having over the loud environment. They were pretty much joking around, making fun of someone's clothes for the evening, my younger self claiming he was going to get stoned in the after-party.

Nothing out of the ordinary.

"Lou, can you come with me to the bathroom?" - Harry asked moments later.

"Here we go." - Emily whispered in my ear.

"Uhm. Why?" - My younger self chuckled, grabbing his glass of champagne and chugging it down.

"Because I don't know where they are?" - Harry asked, pouting at young Louis.

Young Louis sighed.

"Fine." - He placed the empty glass on one of the waitresses' trays and stood up from his chair, motioning Harry to follow him.

"I think I remember this day." - I said to Emily. - "And I really don't want to follow them."

"Bad luck then, you don't have a choice." - She said, grabbing my arms and forcing me to stand up, then pushing me to follow them.
