Mitsuya took a long leave from work after his event. It has been 3 days, he treats you so well right now.

You mailed Ran to give you a week before you go with him to the hot spring. Aside from the manuscript you need to finish, here's Mitsuya never leaving your side and assisting you while you work. He do all the chores inside the house. He serves you coffee while you're busy in front of your laptop.

You've been dreaming for this to happen but something feels off. Could it be he's just doing this to feed his guilt? The guilt he felt from what he heard from Chifuyu.

As you removed your glasses, you covered both your eyes with your palm to rest them. They feel tired and blurry. Your head also started hurting.

"Why don't you rest for a while?" Mitsuya who's sitting on the couch inside your work room dropped the book he is reading and walked toward you. He placed his hands on both your shoulders from behind and gave it a light massage.

"Naaah, I can't rest until i finish this. I have a planned trip on sunday so i need to make my manuscript in advance."

"Who are you going with?" He asked.

"Hasegawa and some other writers along with their editors." You lied. The truth is you want to make it up with Ran.

"I also have a business trip to Osaka on Sunday. I'm going with Luna to meet with some collaborators for the next event."

"We're both busy aren't we?" You laughed at him.

"Right? I'll go get you a cold water. You'll get migraines if you keep drinking coffee." He then left and went out the room.

When the door closed, you took your phone and checked if you have a message. There was only a photo message. The picture of the hot spring you are going. It's a private outdoor type hot spring where you can enjoy moonlight at night.

You kept your phone on the drawer with a smile plastered on your face. So after this hellish week, you can expect a heaven. Your motivation doubled.

Meanwhile Mitsuya was also in his phone in the kitchen. Yuzuha has been bombarding him with lots of messages and calls. He took the chance to call her while getting you a cold water. You're buried on your work so he knew you won't come out. He assured her that he could go with her to Osaka and have their staycation there as a private celebration for their successful event.

So him obediently staying beside you right now is just because he's gonna do sneaky thing again. Well for sure it would lessen the guilt he would feel because he took care of you first before his other woman.

"Y/n..." He came back from the kitchen with a glass of water with ice.

"Hmn?" You hummed while still focused on typing.

"Aren't you going to sleep yet?"

"Nope... just a little more. You can sleep without me. I'll follow later."

"I'll stay here. " he placed the glass beside your laptop. "I'll continue reading this book. It's quite interesting." He waved the book he was reading a while ago and smiled at you.

You took a quick glance at him seeing him getting absorbed in reading. This sight is new to you. Most of the time, the only image of your husband flashing inside your head is the Mitsuya Takashi infront of his sewing machine. God knows how much you adored him giving his 100% for his career. This pushed you years ago to change yourself for better. The only idea you hated was him working with his ex girlfriend whom he loved so much maybe more than how he loves you now.

Ran was smiling from ear to ear after he saw the heart emoji you sent him as a reply.

Rindou rolled his eyes seeing his brother acting like a teenager in love. "Focus... " he whispered .

"I know, i know." Ran kept his phone on his pocket and pulled out his Smith & Wesson hand gun from his body holster. "Need to finish this job fast so i can go on a short vacay with my woman.

Gunshots started to echo a Ran kicked the door and Rindou backed him up immediately. The women started screaming and ducked fearing they will get killed.

The brothers were quick to headshot 3 of the men they were pursuing. They left one to bring back to their HQ because Sanzu wants to do the interrogation and torturing.

They knocked the man and tied him, tossing him on the car compartment.

"What shall we do to that cabin?" Rindou asked.

"Burn it." Ran coldly said.

The 3 dead men along with their trembling women was still inside. Haitani Ran is a ruthless criminal. He doesn't care for other people who doesn't benefit or interest him. Rindou goes the same.

Gasoline were poured around the cabin. A single light match ignited the fire. The crimson colored flame slowly ate the whole wooden structure. The screams of those alive echoed louder. The brothers turned their back and rode their car. They drove away leaving the scene.

Tomorrow everything will turn to ashes and the crime will be turned to another mystery for the authorities.
