— Chapter 22 —
"Nanny! Let's hurry up, the party starts in an hour. We still have to choose the perfect gown" Taeyong said and the maids were running around Haneul's room.
"Oppa, can't I just stay here? I'm really not in the mood to go to parties right now" Haneul whined but Taeyong didn't listen
"Should we go for purple sir?"
"Nah, that gown's too fancy"
"How about blue?"
"Hmm, too revealing"
"Gold?"
"Too bright"
"Let's just go for black damn it" Haneul interrupted and the maid nodded her head.
"How about the make up ma'am? Should we go for dark make up or light make up?"
"Go for dark since she's wearing a black gown" Taeyong said and sat on Haneul's bed.
The maids started to fix her up. It was quick since there were alot of maids in there.
Once the maids were done, Taeyong approached the girl and took something from his pocket.
He told Haneul to hold her hair for a bit and she followed. He placed the necklace on Haneul's neck and she admired it.
"Woah, where did you get this oppa?"
"That's mom's necklace. She told me to give it to you on you 18th birthday but I haven't attended your party since the company was having alot of trouble back then."
"I wanted to give this to you now since I know that you have already grown into a independent woman"
"Wait... What does that mean?" Taeyong smiled at her and caressed her hair
"You are now free Haneul. You can do whatever you want without telling us. Because we know that you're ready in stepping on the new stage of your life."
"Your first year in college is about to end. And we won't know that in the next few years, you'll become a successful doctor."
"Mom told us to look after you the day before the accident happened. Mark was the one who was really serious about his words that's why he became strict to you and Haechan months ago before you had amnesia."
"But anyways, let's continue the story later. Let's go, we might get late."

"Haneul, sweetie! I'm so glad you came tonight!" Mrs. Choi hugged her and she hugged back too.
Yeah they were wearing masks but Mrs. Choi immediately recognized Haneul because of her golden brown hair.
"Thank you for inviting us mom. Taeyong really forced me to go here. Anyways, where are the foods?" She excitedly asked and Mrs Choi chuckled.
"It's right there honey. Soobin? Can you lead Haneul to the food stand sweetie?"
"Sure mom" Soobin and Haneul walked towards the food table and she started eating.
"It's nice to see you again Haneul"
"Yeah" She said while munching on her food
"So, anyways, I'm glad you're here. I really thought you wouldn't come"
"No, why wouldn't I?"
"Um.. Because.. I'm...here?" Soobin said and Haneul looked at him
"Well, not really the exact reason. I didn't wanted to go here since there are alot of people around."
