— Chapter 35 —
[Haneul's P.O.V.]
I was currently getting ready to go to the hospital. Bang Chan's father informed us that Bang Chan's sister has replaced him as the head of the hospital after what happened to Bang Chan.
I checked everything that I need and went downstairs. Chenle and Renjun were still here since they decided to stay here last night. Chenle is cooking our breakfast while Renjun, Jay and Mark were sitting on the couch in the living room while watching TV.
"Hey Jay, when are you going back?" I asked as I sat beside Mark
"Why? Do you want me to go back now? You haven't thanked me for saving you yet, I won't leave until you thank me" He said
"Tss, whatever Jongseong, you can stay here for the rest of your life" she scoffed and looked at Renjun.
"Jun, where's Jeno and Jaemin?"
"They went to the cemetery, Jaemin wanted to visit Haechan" Yes. We decided to bury Haechan's body two days after he died. We didn't want to make ourselves suffer from crying.
"Breakfast is ready!" Chenle shouted from the kitchen and we all stood up and went to the dining area. Upon entering, we saw a variety of food placed on the table.
"Enjoy! I made alot of food to cheer your moods up. Go on and eat" He said and sat beside Renjun.
I was about to take my first bite when my phone suddenly rang. I took it from my pocket and saw Jisung's name on it. I answered the call and waited for him to talk.
"Still in your house?"
"Yeah. You?"
"I'm on the road right now.
Do you want me to pick you up?
I'm about 15 minutes away from your mansion"
"Yeah sure, See you"
I ended the call and placed my phone back in my pocket and continued eating.
"Who was it?" Mark asked
"Jisung. He's gonna pick me up, he said he'll resign there too. He doesn't want to be separate with me"
"You know, I got a weird feeling about Jisung" Jay said and looked at them
"How many days or months or years have you been friends with him?"
"Uh, 2 months?" I answered
"Hm, weird. I don't know if it's just me or... Why does he act like he has known you for years already? I mean, when he's with you guys, he's really comfortable but when it comes to new people, he's quiet"
"Jay, you just need some sleep. You must be tired from overthinking" Renjun said and Jay went quiet.
I was done eating and was about to stand up. We heard a loud beep from outside.
"That must be Jisung. I'll head out now"
"Be careful Han" Mark and Renjun said and waved at me. I nodded and waved back at them before going out.

"Is ms. Hannah here already?" I asked the nurse and she nodded.
"She's inside her office Dr. Lee"
"Don't call me Dr. Lee from now on. I'll be resigning here and today will be the last day that I'll step my foot in this hospital" I said and the nurse bowed.
I walked towards the elevator and Jisung followed me behind. I thought that I should visit Mr. Moon for the last time after I meet with Hannah.
"Han, what if she won't accept our resignation letters?"
