Chapter 11

Next Morning, Jeevika woke up only to realize that everyone slept in the hall itself. So, she woke up everyone and told them to sleep in their room.And everyone at once agreed, as they had a really uncomfortable sleep , since they were sitting in the couches.

Jeevika and Viren left to their room , only after checking everyone reached their respective rooms, and checked upon Nandini too. When they reached, Viren sat on the bed , when Jeevika walked into washroom. Soon, she freshened up and came out.

Viren - Jeevika, its just 5, u can sleep some more time right?

Jee - No Viren, i m not sleepy, u sleep

Viren - Jeevika, come here.

She went and stood next to him, where he sat in the bed. He holded her hand, and made her sit such that they both are facing each other.

Viren - Now tell me, what is making you this upset, that u cant even sleep?

Jeevika - Viren, what are u saying, i slept well

Viren - dont try to lie to me , you know u cant lie right?

Jeevika looked down, not wanting to look at his eyes. As she know, he would for sure,can make her spill the things with in some seconds.So, she stayed silent, but Viren had other plans.

He cupped her face, made her look at him straight.

Viren - Tell Jeevika, dont keep it within urself. We have promised ourselves right, when taking this responsibility upon us, that we will be each others support system, and will not hide even small things from each other. Isnt it so Jeevika?

Jee - Viren, its really nothing. Just upset over things happened last night.

Viren - (sadly) Still you dont trust me right jeevika?

Jee (raised her head, at once he spoke)- No viren, its nothing like that

Viren - No jeevika, let me be clear to you, we have also promised that we would try to make this relationship work. But, being like this , we cant do it Jeevika, you cant even tell what is making u upset and me..Me i cant even understand what is making u sad. i think i failed in this relationship jeevika

Jeevika - No viren, not like that, u are taking it everything wrong.

By now, both were crying,

Viren - i know Jeevika, this marriage was a forced one, though it was the situation and the society that made us to take this decision , still it was us, who decided to give our whole to make this relationship work. May be it was difficult for you to accept me, but i didnt regret even one second in this married life. I whole heartedly accepted u as my wife, but let me tell u something this time jeevika, if at all, you feel u are being suffocated in this marriage, even if it was for a milli seconds, tell me immediately, i will free you from this relationship,(she gasped hearing him , tried to stop him , but still he continued) let me speak , i dont want both of us to regret for taking this decision jeevika. Even if you want divorce u can freely tell me. i can accept it. because, i am always your that best friend before being ur husband.

Jeevi (cant able to tolerate, shouted) (holding his collars)- will u shut up now Viren? What happened to you that u are speaking like this? You want me to leave? Do you think i m regretting for taking the decision for getting married to you? Do this think that much low of me? This marriage, was the only best decision that i took in my whole life viren. Dont say like that viren. I m not hiding anything from you viren, anyways i was going to speak to you only, who do i have, to speak all my heart, except you. I trust u viren, of all those in this world, i trust you the most.

Viren smiled hearing her.

Viren (again cupping her cheeks) - What happened baby? what is making my doll so stressed up? Dont u know that ur protector is always by ur side, then y to stress.what were u think dear, tell me?

Jeevika - Viren, i was thinking about manik.

Viren (confused) - What about Manik? what are u speaking jee, i cant understand. He is fine Jee. Just stressed up.

Jee- He is not fine Viren. He is absolutely not. We failed in him Viren.

Viren - (pulling her, and making her back rest in the bed rest, he too sat comfortably) - tell me jee, what happened

Jee- What did we tell him while they all left to States, Viren, 2 years back? Can u remember

He nodded negatively, as he doesnt understand what she is mentioning about

Jee - We told him right,to bring back our Nandu, our real wala Nandu? Remember

He nodded agreeing

Jee - Everyone were shattered right at that time

Viren - Jee what are u saying , i cant understand.

Jee - Not only nandu was shattered viren, everyone was, the most broken one on seeing her like that was Manik Viren, When we said manik to bring our real nandu back, y didnt we tell him to bring our real manik too viren. This is not our Manik viren. Our manik always stood strong, he plays pranks, he was also a child viren. But the one, with us, is too much matured than our manik. you know right, how he was, what he was going to do, on that day. but everything got spoiled viren, just because of one person, who we thought as our own family. It was his best friend Viren. On the other side, it was Nandu . How can manik be the same .

Viren too got her point , now he too started analyzing her words, somewhere they confirmed that the incident not only impacted over Nandu, but also Manik, even more than other persons.

Jee - In the process of bringing our Nandu back, we lost our Manu viren. (saying this, she leaned over his shoulders , started crying. )

Viren too had tears, but stood strong for her. He made her straight, and said holding her hands

Viren - We will bring our Manik back, J. I promise. dont cry. we can bring them back , we are not going to leave them anymore right..

Jeevika just nodded, and again leaned over his shoulders, and viren gave her a kiss on her forehead. After that they didnt talk, sat silently, trying to digest all the things happening around. Whatever it was, they stood strong, as promised as always.

Soon, sleep took over them, and they slept in that position itself. That is when someone, standing outside their room, hearing their conversation. After a long 10 mins, the person left the saying

Person - Thats right, darling, we lost him back, but i promise you , i will bring him back to you for sure.

uffff, back to back 3 updates. take this as a sorry from my side for disappearing without telling anyone. Had so much of medical issues at home and got stuck. On top of that, office works tires me a lot. Now that i m back will try to provide a regular updates. Thank you guys.. Have a good day.   :)
