Chapter 9

Flashback ends

Everyone were silent. All eyes were teary. Everyone were crying silently. Some were trying to digest the fact what they heard few hours before. Some were in deep thoughts. Some were having a weird eye contact, realizing something. Some were sitting silent trying to control their tears. Some were trying to erase those past out of their life. The couple snuggled into themselves, replaying all the things that happened. One sound wail brought everyone out from their thoughts. Turning to the source, It was Nandini, crying her lungs out, on the loss of her parents, her well wishers. Soon her wail erupted into hysterical cries, crying out her life. Seeing her cries, everyone got alert. Even before they start to react, her wails got wild, struggling to breath.

Manik (cupping her cheeks) - Shit, Shit.... No no no, Nandini no , Shh, Shh... Nandu Relax.

Everyone ran towards her, and stood around her. Kaka holded her from left, but she shooed him off.

Manik(with teary eyes) - Nandu, please baby, Shhh, dont cry na, please.

Still her breath did get normal. Jeevika replaced Kaka, and holded her from her left side.

Jeevi(taking her in her embrace) - Princess, see na, everyone is around you na, please baby, dont cry.

Viren - Kneeling in front of her & holding her hands that was placed in her lap - Stop crying Nandu, this wont help your health baby, Its going to hurt you worse only Nandu,It will pain you dear, listen to jiju na.

Jeevika and viren tried to hold her, but she shrugged them off too.

But still she cried. cried her lungs out.Her cries became wild. She became violent. She pushed them both, she pushed everyone around her, rolled to the corner of the sofa, pulling her legs up to her chest, her cries turned into shouts, terrible shouts, shocking everyone.

That soul was still a child, who is not able to bear her parents tragic death. Yeah , all four cant. But, still those three were strong enough to accept the fate. But, that one soul who have already suffered much, was not able to bear another shock in her life, probably her parents death, which had brought a huge toll in her life again.

Her shouts made everyone alert. Now, they all knew she can never be controlled or pulled out of this. It was always a nightmare for them. yes, it was her panic attack, visiting her back, giving them all the pain as pleasantries for visiting. There was one person who stood rooted at his place, on seeing her again in the place where he wished to not see her . It killed every ounce of his life seeing her like that again. Soon, he came out of his state while hearing his name.

Jee/Cab/Viren - Maanik.

He realized what is happening around him , ran towards Nandu.

Nandu - Aaaaahh,, (holding her head), pulling out her hair , trying to control her pain

Everyone tried to remove her hands, but she was holding it so tightly.

Manik pushed everyone without caring who were standing in the  way. He kneeled infront of her, holding her hands still, but he didnt try removing them, instead he holded her hands tight enough, for her that she cant even move her hands a bit.

Manik- Nandu , look at me.

No, she didnt budge of, trying hard to remove his hold on her. But , everyone knows he is a stubborn head.

Manik - Firefly, look at me na, please.Its your Manik Nandu.

On hearing firefly, Nandu stopped wriggling, brought her head up, only to meet a pair of teary eyes, ofcourse with worlds all love, looking at her scared, wailing eyes.. On seeing him, at once, fell on him straight calling Manik, not even caring that she is on the couch and he kneeling on the floor. Because, she knew the hands which she is falling into, can even die for her, but will never let her fall or get her hurt. Thats all, getting in his embrace, she cried, cried again for a long time, crying her pain out, crying for her parents death, crying for the days where she was bullied by everyone who were calling her all sort of bad names , only because she was an orphan. She was crying, in his arms, but, No, he didnt talk anything back, he didnt say any words to soothe her pain, all he did in return was to caress her hairs in his embrace , hiding her away from the outer world with his tight hug, also trying to find his peace, solace, with her with closed eyes.
