It's Cold here
—•—Omisha turned away from the silhouette and began to drink again. They just wanted to mind their own business and go to bed. Omisha stayed sitting for another 10 minutes before getting up to leave, when a soft playing of Beethoven on a piano was heard.
It was beautiful and smooth against the ears. Omisha believed the song to be called Bagatelle Für Elise, one of Beethoven's more famous songs. It was amazing how well the stranger was playing it, that Omisha just had to see who they were. And surprise surprise, it was the silhouette from earlier.
They were beautiful as well, just like his playing. He had a beard, but not a scruffy unattractive one but a nice put together looking one. He was blonde and pretty tall. If they had to guess they'd say he was 6'2. He wore a light graphic -T that had a picture of Paramore on it. He also wore bleached ripped jeans, and a wooden cross around his neck. He had these brown eyes that just stood out as if it was different than others, which they may be.
Omisha couldn't tell though from this far away. They may be a lesbian but damn this man was attractrive.
Omisha knew that he probably didn't see them but they waved him goodbye and started to head out. Of course that nice moment had to be put to an end. Some big bulky dude came walking into them, pushing Omisha to the ground. It threw them through a loop of panic and back at the trauma they were trying to push down with the pulsating headache. They hit the ground in such a way that reminded them of being drugged at the cart.
All Omisha could see was Doug's taunting smile and taser. That goddamn taser that would stay with them forever. It sizzled and crackled out just as if it was getting ready to strike like a viper. It kept sparking over and over again until Doug wrapped his arms around them and pulled them down to hell with him.
That was until they started rocking back and forth as if they were in a rocking chair. And then he placed their head against his chest right where his heart would be. It was beating steadily and out of impulse Omisha tried shoving the comforting arms away. But they held steady around them. He put his head on top of theirs and began humming. It was steady and smooth just like the piano playing. It was again Bagatelle Für Elise.
Piano guy?
No way it's the piano guy. It's Doug, don't you see it's awful smile.
Omisha looked up at this man's face. It was calm and serene and it certainly was not Doug. He was something stoic but his aura just radiated kindness.
Without realizing it Omisha had calmed themselves down by distracting their panic. Omisha was about to fall in another panic for bothering the man when a soft voice interrupted their thoughts.
" Are you ok? Do you need a few moments or do you want to get up? I'm willing to do almost anything if you need it."
Omisha was going to say that they wanted them to get up and never talk again when they realized they would just go into another bout of panic if left alone to their own devices.
" Um... Can you walk with me for a bit? "
Nodding for a second, the man slowly got up with them. He wrapped his arm around their shoulder to steady them before letting go. The strange man was being very mindful of their personal space and touching. Omisha severely appreciated it to no end.
He led them out of the bar in slow but swift steps. He held the door open for them like a gentleman and Omisha guessed he technically was. He always asked for consent and was always mindful about their space. But Omisha couldn't keep calling him the man forever, so they decided to break their sweet silence.
" What's your name?" They asked in a quiet voice. A chuckle was all they received for a few seconds before the man spoke again. " Jake. My name is Jake. And yours?"
Omisha blushed in embarrassment. Of course he didn't know their name, they hadn't introduced themselves, how rude of them.
" Sorry, my name is Omisha. How rude of me. I truly am sorry." Omisha quickly replied. All they got back was another laugh. They looked at Jake in surprise.
His eyes were scrunched up in joy. He had a bright smile on his face as his laugh sounded out in sweet melody as if a perfect composition of music itself. Omisha was confused. What about their apology was funny? It was completely meaningful and was needed to a great degree. They couldn't be seen as rude. Not if something bad was going to happen if they were.
Jake soon quieted down noticing the confusion on Omisha's face. " You needn't apologize. It was a simple mistake and it wasn't even a big deal. So no need to worry." He comforted in his smooth quiet voice again, just like when they had a panic attack.
" Say let's stop at the park for a bit. Maybe it'll calm your nerves?" Jake suggested calmly. Omisha nodded before laying in the dead grass that laid on the ground during February. Jake soon followed but at a distance. Omisha silently thanked him for that in their head. They didn't think they could take someone in their personal bubble.
Omisha's eyes traveled to the stars above them, they were shining bright in the sky. Time passed slowly and soon their eyes were falling shut to the rhythm of their breaths. When they opened their eyes once again, green eyes looked at them back. Omisha jumped in a panic, jostling Jake awake in the process.
"Who-who are you?" Omisha stuttered out. At the sound of their voice Jake jumped straight up. " What's going on?" Jake asked. And as he looked at the person who startled Omisha his eyes sharpened. Omisha could only think one thing when they saw the woman. She had bright fiery red hair, and emerald green eyes. She was beautiful.
"Hey. Sorry to bother you, I just didn't know if you were dead or not with you people laying still like that. What are you doing anyway?" Omisha was confused. Who were they? What are they doing here? And why did they care?
" Um. I'm sorry but who are you?" Jake asked, his voice breaking through the silence that was starting to grow. " Oh my god, I'm so sorry. My name is Lou, and I don't remember how I got here so I've been asking around when I saw you two. What's your guys' names?"
" Oh um... I'm Omisha and this is an acquaintance of mine, Jake. We were just taking a break lying in the grass when you showed up." Omisha stated quietly. They didn't like how they didn't notice this person's presence and it showed on their face as it dropped into a frown.
" Hey are you ok? Did I upset you? If so I didn't mean to. If my presence upsets you I can leave?" Lou asked nervously.
" No, no you're fine. Um. Actually? Do you want to go and get a drink with us?" Jake looked towards Omisha for permission, receiving a nod in response making him smile brightly at them both in return.
" All right then! Let's do this!" Jake exclaimed suddenly, bright and energetic not unlike a child who was told he was getting candy. Jake only proved that point by skipping the way to the bar in his joy.
Entering the building, Jake held the door open for the other two.
" Allow me!" He then did a very dramatic low bow causing the both of them to laugh. " Alright Prince Charming, let's go get some drinks."
Omisha grabbed his arm and pulled him along to the bar, Lou chuckling along. " 3 Margaritas please!" Lou yells to the bartender. They sit down on the stools when another voice yells out, " Make it 4 please."
The trio turns to the new voice all looking very confused about who this was. All they saw was a black cloak over the small body. " Hello there. My names Asuna and I'm here to save your utterly stupid asses." The cloak was torn off and a soft smirk was turned at them.
" So I hear you have a monster problem?"
