" So I hear you have a monster problem?" Asuna questioned.
" Who the hell are you!?" Omisha asked, standing up as fast as they could.
Asuna only smiled more at the aggressiveness. " Wow, that's the attitude we need! Also didn't I already say? My name is Asuna. I'm the greatest magician in the world! I can give you prophecies even if I'm asleep! It'll all be remembered in the morning."
" What. The. Actual. Fuck. You're 14?" "-22 actually" " And you're running around claiming to see the future? Yeah no sorry darling but you're probably off be-'', "Omisha Naomi, you're 27 years old and your residence is in Lotus Flower Valley but you were attacked there 5 days ago so you've been running ever since. You just met Jake and Lou but you trust them more then you have trusted someone in-"
A flash of pain erupted in their forehead at the mention of trust. "SHUT UP! I get it. You're psychic."
" Well yeah but I got all that information from dreams so it's not like I could read your mind so stop looking so constipated." Asuna said matter of factly.
Omisha flipped her off and sat down, mumbling under their breath. Jake was tense and so was Lou but they too went back to their conversations and their seats like nothing happened. Other customers looked confused but annoyed with the noise they all tooned them out.
" How do you know me?" Omisha asked.
They were terrified. What if this was just another monster. " I can assure you I'm not a threat but I do have some information that I feel that you would like."
" That includes?...." Omisha questioned with an open ending hoping to get good news but didn't want to get their hopes up.
" I've got information where the maps of their main base are and what their biggest weakness is. So if you want this information then you need to listen."
"What are you guys even talking about? Monsters? Bases? Weaknesses? What's going on?"
" So um apparently there are monsters overrunning my town that have been trying to kill me since I got there and now are trying to assassinate me so I can't inform anyone, and so I'm trying to kill them first so no one has to worry again."
" What the fuck?! Are you ok? Are you hurt anywhere? Can I help?"
" Yeah, I'm fine. I'm not hurt. And what do you mean help?! You want to put yourself in danger Lou!"
" I was in the army for 12 years, I think I can fight off mentvegorn monsters!" exclaimed Lou.
"Well we definitely could destroy them but we need a few things first." Asuna told them. " And what would that be?" Jake questioned. He was skeptical but he needed a break from being alone so why not. " Well first we need silver knives, but be thankful because I already bought them."
Asuna threw them on the table for each of them to take. " All we need is to nick them to get their blood on the tip of the knife then stab them on the right side of their body as that's where their hearts are." Asuna finished explaining as she sat down on a stool next to Omisha.
" Why so specific?" Jake asked, genuinely confused.
" Well its kind of like a metaphor? The only thing that can kill monsters in monsters themselves, I guess." Asuna answered, shrugging at her statement.
" Cool. Anyway, where's the map then?" Lou was confused but following their questions and answers, it seems like she's going to go on an adventure. 'Last one though' she promised to herself.
" Oh the map? Yeah it's being put into a museum tomorrow so we should probably go get it tonight before it's put under a bunch of security." Asuna took a drink of her margarita as the rest of them gaped at her.
" So we're going to break into a highly secured museum to break out a piece of old map?!" Jake whisper yelled at Asuna.
" Noooo. We're going to break a piece of paper out of a highly secured truck!" Asuna smiled
" Same thing!" Jake yelled.
" No. One is stuck in place and the other is moving!" Asuna said cheerfully.
" Ugh ok. So what's the plan?" Jake asked.
Asuna grinned before explaining, " Well the guards of the truck stop for a break every 30 minutes. So I calculated their driving time and they will be arriving at a 9-Eleven in 15 minutes for gas. So I was thinking that we head over to the gas station and hide out until they get there. Then when the driver gets out, we'll knock him out and take his clothes. So Jake, do you know how to drive?" Asuna looked at him hopefully. Omisha's jaw was dropped. Asuna really thought this through.
" Um yeah, I can." Jake said quietly questioning how his life ended up like this.
" Alright then! Then you'll put on the driver's clothes. But be careful. There's one other passenger in the front then there's three guards in the back, so keep your head down and don't talk. Take them to this address and then I'll take care of the rest."
Jake nodded as Asuna put down a piece of folded paper into his hands.
" Alright then. Let's head out!"
Omisha nodded wordlessly, paid and started to head out. While walking out, Omisha looked at the bulletin board. Another missing persons picture was hanging. Oh where did their world go?
