It's Cold here
—•—" You're awake.... That was quick. It's a surprise that the drugs didn't last that long, but I think you know something about that." A deep voice resounded through the small room.
Omisha blinked. The light was bright, but blurry. There was a ringing in their ear as loud as church bells. Omisha couldn't think so they tried to listen to the voice to understand where they were while also hoping to find clues around the room they were in.
Confusion at the statement held still when they looked around. They turned their head around, back and forth; side to side, coming up with nothing in sight but a small dark window. Nothing else was in the room except for the chair they were sitting in, and the cords connected to their body.
The voice spoke again. " Don't try to struggle. Or do! It'll be easier for me to get away with what I want to do. And don't worry! You're never getting out of those chains. They're bound in titanium so even the strongest of men couldn't escape."
A loud creak resounded through the room when an old metal door was opened next to the dark window, somehow unnoticeable in the small undecorated room. Doug walked in pushing a screeching, rusty hospital cart next to him. Along on the cart were tweezers, electric cables, a car battery, stun batons, tasers, and a tank of larger than average eels swimming around. Doug was staring Omisha straight into their eyes, a sinister smirk played on his face and a crazed look in his eyes.
" I know you must be wondering why you are here." Doug grabbed the taser off the cart.
" You're one of the monsters, right?" Omisha's question is barely louder than the skittering footsteps of rats in the walls right next to them.
" Monsters? If you're talking about the
emergovnnt, then yes. But if you're speaking of someone else, then no. Sorry to disappoint."" The engovnermt? What do they want with me?" Omisha's eyes were wide.
Why did the engomvertn want them?
More importantly, what is Doug gonna do with us?
" Honestly, I don't know?" Doug shrugged. " All I know is that they hired a bounty hunter to hunt," he paused and pushed their chest aggressively" You, down. That's why I have you here, to get information and deliver you to the higher ups."
Now that Omisha knew what the cart was for they struggled against the chains, pulling and grabbing at the little freedom of movement they have, to no avail whatsoever. Doug's smirk turned into frown.
" You fucking bitch." He turned on the taser to the highest setting, 2.1 mA or 0.0021Amps, and put it against their neck. " Stop moving, you'll topple yourself over!" Omisha tried to scream but their throat became restricted from the pain. They soon fell limp in the chair, tears welling up in their eyes.
" I modified the taser a bit, I'm glad it's working how I wanted it too."
Images swam in Omisha's vision. Pictures of people yelling and standing over them. Machines being held up and connected to their body. People in white coats held them down as their body convulsed off a- cold metal table?
A woman in the corner of their vision glitched in and out of their vision. She was yelling at the other people in white coats. It was getting more vibrant in colors when it all disappeared in a flash. They were now openly crying. The tears fell down their face like a waterfall, but it felt like nothing but pressure for some reason.
Doug stood in front of them holding a stun baton. He had stunned them in the arm, a red pulsing mark visible. It numbed Omisha's body. A pounding migraine was the only thing they felt; until a flash of pain hit their face. Doug stood over Omisha, a bloody fist hanging to his side. Doug had punched them. And by the blood on his hand, he had hit hard enough to make them bleed.
