On one of her days off, Mina went around the outskirts of Liyue to find herbs for the Pharmacy. Looking around for some herbs when she suddenly spots a body in the water. She gasps and runs over to them. Upon further inspection she finds a boy with odd clothing.

The boy was covered in injuries and had an arrow stuck in his chest. Mina checks if the boy was alive. He had a weak pulse and low body temperature. "How're you still alive?". Mina quickly takes the boy out of the water and onto dry land.

She needed to act quickly if she wanted to save the boy. She puts the herbs in a pouch as she picks up the boy, careful not to move the arrow. She puts his left arm over her shoulder and walks back to her house. Mina took her time to try and avoid any monsters or people who might think she caused this.

She eventually arrives at her house. She places the boy in the spare room in her house and quickly runs to get supplies. Mina was stocked with a variety of medical supplies because she often takes those who seek her help at her house.

Returning to the room the boy was in she placed out several medical supplies on a table. Mina then goes to his side. The first thing that needed her attention was the arrow in his left shoulder. She had to remove it before doing the other steps. Mina softly grabs hold of the arrows and speaks. "Please bear with me. This'll hurt!".

With one swift tug she pulls out the arrow resulting in a scream from the boy. She quickly channels Cryo into the wound, stopping any more blood loss. The boy was a huffing mess after what just occurred.

The next step she wasn't all too happy with. She needs to change his clothes. This'll reveal other injuries that need to be healed. Mina turns red as she quickly removes his clothes and covers him. Of course, she was deeply embarrassed, but she didn't want him to suffer anymore. Looking at his chest she found more wounds on him.

The most prominent of them was his right hand. It was completely burned with infection seeping in. He seemed to be holding something as she tried to remove the object from his hand, but he subconsciously tightened his grip. "Please I need it to treat your wounds".

He seemed to give into her request and loosened his hold. "Thank you". Mina grabs the object and puts it on the table next to her. She soaks multiple herbs together into a solution and applies it to his various wounds. The boy jerks as she slows her movements. "It's ok, I'm almost done".

She wraps the wounds on his chest and then lastly focuses on his right hand. The flesh was severely burned with various scar tissue forming. No amount of healing could heal this burn. He'll have to cover it for the rest of his life.

She furrows her brow. The burn was too severe. Will he be able to use it? Mina puts heavy ointment on his hand and covers it several times. She was careful not to wrap it too tightly to cut off circulation. The boy had developed a fever from being soaked.

She forms small amounts of ice to help bring down his temperature and would cover him if his temperature dropped. This repeated until the morning of where he remained in a stable condition. Mina had asked for some time off and used the time to tend to the boy.

Over the next few days, Mina treated the boy's various wounds. His fever lessened on the fourth day causing him to wake up. Kazuha slowly opens his eyes and glances around. The place he was in was very different from Inazuman interior. Did he escape?

Kazuha suddenly remembers what happened and sits up quickly causing unbearable pain all over his body. "Agh!". He falls down on the bed. His original clothes were gone. Instead, he wore what looked like a hospital gown. What happened to him? The memories from that day ran through his mind. A sudden knock at the door alerts him. Who could possibly be that?

A/N: I do a lot of cliffhangers, but I try not to. (I don't do them intentionally) This is my normal length. So, I do apologize for those who like to read longer chapters. This is the length for every chapter unless otherwise. Other than that, Happy reading. Have a great week!

(Please note that I am not a doctor and made up the way Mina helped with Kazuha's injuries)

See you soon!
