Uneasy Trust

Kazuha prepares for the worst but is met with a young girl. "Oh, my!". The girl walks to him and checks his temperature. He still had a fever. "Your temperature is still high". Kazuha looked at the girl confused and suddenly remembered his friend's vision. 

He bolts up and looks around. Mina senses this and takes out the colorless vision from a drawer. "Is this what you're looking for?". He grabs it with his injured arm and sighs in relief. They didn't steal his friend's vision. She helps him to lay back down. "Rest. Your body needs it".

Nausea hits him as he slowly closes his eyes. Mina was relieved that he didn't open his healing wounds. A day and a half later, Kazuha opens his eyes again. The smell of broth greets him as the girl from earlier was with him. "Hello". He glances at what she was doing and tilts his head. "Oh, I made some Chicken Soup. Would you like some?". 

He didn't respond and continued to stare at her. Mina was a little concerned and got up to see what's wrong. As she walked over to him, he tightened his grip of the vision and shivered a little bit.

Hazy eyes meet hers as she backs away. "It's ok, I won't hurt you". He tilts his head again. "Would you like something to eat?". He responds with a tiny nod. "That's wonderful!". She grabs a bowl full of broth and hands it to him. Kazuha only stared at it. 

Mina chose to feed him herself. After he was done eating, he started to feel sleepy and fell back to sleep. Unbeknownst, to him she put some medication in the broth to help with his healing. His emotions were very concerning to her. Mina will have to ask Dr. Baizhu to take a look at him.

The next morning, Mina leaves early to get a console from Dr. Baizhu. She couldn't take more time off and not give a good explanation on why. She arrives at Bubu Pharmacy and looks for Dr. Baizhu. She is greeted by Qiqi who waved at her. "Hello...Mina". She smiles at her. "Morning, Qiqi. Do you know where I could find Dr. Baizhu?". 

She gives her a slight nod and points left. "Thank you Qiqi! I owe you some Coconut Milk!". Her eyes glisten as Mina leaves. "Coconut... Milk!". Dr. Baizhu was in his office as Mina burst through the door. "Dr. Baizhu!". He raises his brow as papers fly everywhere.

She scratches her cheek. "Heh, sorry". Baizhu sits up and gathers the papers off the floor. "It's nice to see you too, Mina". She nods and starts to avoid eye contact. Baizhu knew the young teen for a while and her 'look'. "What have you gotten yourself into now?". Mina's eyes widened a little as she looked at the doctor. She couldn't keep it a secret any longer. 

Mina proceeds to tell Dr. Baizhu all that happened while she was off. "Ok, I see. It would be best if I took a look". They both leave the office. Baizhu asks Qiqi to look after the Pharmacy as they head to her house.

Arriving at her place they walk into where Kazuha was. He looked their way as he did the same reaction from before. Another figure in the room made him shudder. "It's ok. I asked if he could take a look at your wounds". Mina's reassuring words calmed him down. 

Baizhu had noticed a small flicker of light in the boy's eyes as she spoke. That was progress to him. "If it's ok with you. May I see your wounds?". Kazuha faintly nods. Baizhu worked swiftly while correcting small mistakes from Mina. "There all done. Lastly, may I take a look at your hand?".

He trembled when Baizhu said that. "I promise I won't take the object". After a few moments of silence, he nods and places the vision next to him. Baizhu unwrapped his hand and furrows his brow. He wasn't happy at the amount of burned flesh there was. This hand will never be the same, but after some muscle training the boy will be able to move his hand. Baizhu wrapped his hand again. "I'm done. Thank you for being a wonderful patient".
