Fateful Encounter

The traveler is known throughout Teyvat for many things. Their heroics started in Monstadt and then spread to Liyue. They helped with the Stormterror crisis and the Battle with Osial. Many praise them for their deeds and even call them a hero. 

They helped many while got little in return. Their journey was rough and will continue to be. But for Lumine, this journey is important for her. She's on this journey to find her sibling. She had a fateful encounter with them in Monstadt and lost them yet again.

Her journey through the nations is to reunite with her sibling and leave. She helped many and got little. No leads on her brother or help to find him. She felt like this journey was useless until she met someone on a journey as well. She met a samurai that fled from their homeland and arrived here. 

She was inspired by their story, and even found a way to Inazuma. They questioned her why she wanted to go there but she had an important reason. Lumine hoped that this nation could shine some light on her journey.

With a way to the next nation, Lumine said goodbyes to those whom she came to know in Liyue and began to make preparations for her journey to Inazuma. She felt sorrowful when saying goodbye to her dear friends, but she must move onto the next nation. 

Many supplies are needed for the upcoming trip. The bout that is being hosted by the Crux Fleet is almost underway. She's a competitor in it to hopefully win a ticket to Inazuma. For now, she's gathering supplies for the upcoming trip.

Mina has noticed Kazuha's disappearances from her house. It's not like she could stop him, but he's still in the healing process and needs to be monitored. There will be a day that she doesn't need to keep a constant eye on him. Kazuha is his own person and has his own agenda. 

But as a doctor she's worried. Is it because she's a doctor or is it something entirely different? The weeks she's known Kazuha have been very fond. She doesn't want to admit it, but she cares for him. She cares for him like a friend and even as a doctor.

During one of many trips to Liyue she had her own fateful encounter. Mina had gotten done with checking up with someone when she accidentally ran into someone. Her mind had wandered and didn't pay attention. 

Mina falls to the ground while the person she ran into slammed their knee. "Ow!" said the person she ran into. Mina quickly opens her eyes to respond to their "injury" but is met with an angered flying creature. "How rude of you! You ran into the Traveler!". 'Traveler?' she thought.

Ok, did she hit her head as well? Since when are there flying creatures? She's only heard of the adepti that can fly but not this. Is she hallucinating? The person she ran into spoke again. "Paimon, I'm alright. We accidently ran into each other". The flying creature spins around. "Are you sure?". 

The flying creature notices the injury on their knee. "Traveler, you're bleeding!". Mina stands up and quickly runs over to them. "Let me help you". Mina takes out various supplies from her satchel. She quickly wraps their knee and offers them something.

Lumine was puzzled by her actions. Usually, people would apologize and leave after, but not this girl. Is she a healer? Mina helps her up and onto a nearby bench. Mina gets into "Doctor Mode" and asks her various questions. They haven't even introduced themselves. The flying creature known as Paimon couldn't keep up. 

Mina finishes the questions and apologizes again. "You're fine. I'm Lumine by the way". Mina smiles "I'm Mina". She swears she's heard "traveler" around Liyue, but why hasn't she heard anything? Her busy schedule and taking care of Kazuha could be to blame. 

A/N: Hello Everyone! I chose Lumine as the traveler for this fanfic for many reasons. Don't worry there will not be any love triangles in this fanfic. After all this is a kazuhaxoc! Mina finally meets the traveler. Kazuha will be in the next chapter!
