Khwahish POV:

After bidding an emotional goodbye to my family, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. The view of the campus was breathtaking, and I couldn't wait to start this new phase of life. "New phase, new friends, new room, new city, and yeah, seniors," I mused, trying to convince myself that everything would be fine.

As I stood there, taking in the sight of the campus, I felt a wave of anxiety.

"Khwahish, gear up; now, you have to do everything on your own here. Soch ke hi dar lagta hai yaar, but kya karein karna toh padega na," I whispered to myself, trying to muster up the courage.

I made my way to my room, where I found my roommate, Ridanshi, already settled in. The feeling of being away from home hit me hard, and I couldn't hold back my tears.

"The toughest thing, I don't want to face it, man. It's heartbreaking," I thought, trying to compose myself.

My parents, sensing my emotions, offered their words of comfort.

My Father: Khyal rakhna thik hai. Koi bhi problem ho toh sidha call,( his voice filled with concern.)

I struggled to speak but managed to nod in acknowledgment.

Me: Jao yaar jaldi, issey pehle or mushkil na ho jaye ye situation

finally managed to say, urging them to leave before I broke down completely.

As they left, I took a deep breath and prepared to explore the campus. However, the campus turned out to be much larger than I anticipated.

"Kya soch ke itna bada campus banaya hai, " I grumbled while navigating through the endless pathways.Amidst my confusion, I collided with a guy on a bicycle.

"Oh hlo! Can't you walk while looking?" I snapped in frustration.

"Main apne side hi tha, aap ghusey beech mai, ajeeb ladki hai," he replied, sounding equally annoyed.

"See, mister, mai pehle hi tensed hun, mujhe or irritate mat karo," I retorted, feeling irritated by his response.

"I'm trying to irritate you. Seriously!" he clarified.

Exasperated, I muttered, "idiot insaan kaise kaise log hai iss college mai, pehle din hi mood kharab kar diya.

"Later, as I settled into my room, I was relieved to meet my roommate, Ridanshi. She was friendly and easygoing, which put me at ease. We quickly struck up a conversation and bonded over our names and backgrounds.

"Aaj hi aaye aap," Ridanshi asked with curiosity

."Yeah," I replied, "Pehle din hi kisi jerk se panga ho gya."

To my surprise, she chuckled and said, "Pehle hi din, not bad, hnn."

I sighed, "Believe me, Ridanshi,  mujhe pehle hi din andhi bula diya.

Mujhe thodi na itni knowledge campus ki.""Koi nhi yaar, chill,"

she comforted me, "pta nhi kitney milenge aise abhi toh."

As the days passed, Ridanshi and I became good friends. I learned that she came from a mixed Punjabi and Rajasthani background, a result of a romantic love story from the '80s. She had never seen mountains in real life, and I promised to take her to my home in Shimla someday.

At night, I called my family to let them know that everything was fine. We had a warm conversation, and my mom couldn't help but chuckle at my eagerness to share every detail.

Days turned into weeks, and I settled into college life. I made more friends and enjoyed my classes. During one of our mealtime conversations, I found out that my friend Samarth played the guitar. Finally, I had someone to be my personal radio! One day, after a long day of lectures, I found myself thinking about the guy I had collided with on my first day. He was constantly on my mind, but I pushed those thoughts away, focusing on my studies and my newfound friendships.

Armaan POV:

After seeing off my younger sister Ridhu to her hostel, I couldn't help but feel proud of her. She had excelled in her exams and was pursuing her dream of architecture engineering. As I transferred her luggage to her room, I couldn't help but feel a little protective.

"Koi bhi problem ho, just call me, okay," I told her, wanting to make sure she felt safe and comfortable.

After bidding her goodbye, I hopped on my cycle and pedaled back to my hostel. On my way, I bumped into a girl, who seemed to be in a hurry.

She was a bit rude, but I didn't pay much attention and continued on my way. After a rigorous football training session, I returned to my hostel, feeling exhausted. My friends were busy, leaving me feeling a bit bored. But I couldn't help but think about her.

There was something different about her, something intriguing that stayed with me.Her carefree attitude and natural appearance, with dark circles and acne marks, caught my attention.

"Why am I thinking about her? Focus, Armaan!" I scolded myself, trying to shake off these thoughts. The next day, I made sure Ridhu was doing well in her hostel. She told me about her friendly roommate, I was relieved to know that she was in good company.
