The event day:-

As the long-awaited event day arrived, Khwahish found herself consumed by panic amidst the bustling decoration area. Her eyes darted around, ensuring that every detail was in place, but a sudden realization struck her like a bolt of lightning. Ten gifts were missing, causing her panic to escalate.

Her mind raced, considering all possible solutions. She tried to remember if there was a backup plan for situations like this, but her thoughts were scattered, clouded by fear and pressure. She knew that her team was working tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect, but the missing gifts were a glaring gap in their preparation.

Khwahish's heart raced as she frantically dialed Pia's number, hoping for a quick solution. However, her calls went unanswered, adding to her growing anxiety. Unable to bear the mounting pressure, she reached for her pill bottle and swallowed one, hoping it would provide some relief.

Unbeknownst to her, Armaan had been observing her actions from a distance. Concern etched across his face as he approached her.

Armaan :"Khwahish, what's going on? Is everything alright?"

It was Armaan. He had noticed her distress and had come to check on her. His presence brought a mix of comfort and vulnerability, reminding her of the unspoken emotions between them.

Struggling to find her voice, Khwahish managed to explain the situation, her words coming out in a rushed flurry.

Khwahiah :"The gifts... ten of them are missing. I can't reach Pia, and I don't know what to do," she admitted, her eyes welling up with tears.

Armaan:  "We'll figure it out don't take tension..What was that pill you just took?"

Khwahish, caught off guard by his sudden inquiry, tried to maintain her composure.

Khwahish: "Oh, it's just a headache pill. I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed with the preparations, you know."

Armaan studied her carefully, sensing that there was more to the story than what she was letting on. However, the event was about to begin, and they couldn't afford any further delays.

Just as Khwahish's worry reached its peak, Pia arrived, holding a tray of leftover gifts in her hands.

Pia: "Khwahish, I apologize for the delay. These are the remaining gifts. They got misplaced during the delivery process, but I managed to track them down just in time."

Relief washed over Khwahish as she realized the crisis had been averted. She thanked Pia, her mind already shifting towards the commencement of the event.

As the event unfolded, Khwahish's attention was divided between the successful execution and the lingering curiosity in Armaan's eyes. He couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that there was more to her pill-taking than a simple headache.

Armaan's mind raced with questions, but he knew that confronting her in the midst of the event would not be appropriate. For now, he chose to observe, determined to find answers in due time.

Throughout the event, Armaan couldn't help but notice the transformation in Khwahish's demeanor. Her bossy avatar, as he playfully referred to it, was a sight to behold. She was in her element, confidently orchestrating every aspect of the party with the finesse of a seasoned professional.

Her attention to detail was remarkable, and every element of the event seemed to be meticulously planned. From the stunning decor to the seamless flow of activities, Khwahish had left no room for error. As he observed her, he couldn't help but admire her dedication and creativity.

Yet, even amidst her professional composure, he detected moments of vulnerability. There were times when her eyes betrayed a hint of exhaustion, and he noticed her subtly taking deep breaths to compose herself. It was clear that the pressure of the event was taking its toll on her, but she soldiered on, determined to make it a memorable experience.

Armaan found himself drawn to Khwahish's strength and resilience. She had grown so much since their college days, becoming a force to be reckoned with in the world of design. He admired the woman she had become, and the lingering feelings from their past only added to his fascination.

on the other hand, Khwahish observed Armaan interacting with the guests, she couldn't help but feel a pang of vulnerability. It seemed that amidst the professional facade, she was still affected by their shared history. Seeing him engaging effortlessly with others reminded her of the emotions that lay dormant within her heart.

As Khwahish witnessed the scene with the woman clinging on to Armaan, her vulnerability escalated. She could feel her emotions bubbling to the surface, threatening to overwhelm her. A mix of sadness and jealousy surged within her, and she struggled to maintain her composure.

Her eyes welled up with tears, and she excused herself quietly, needing a moment of solitude to gather her thoughts. As she stepped away from the crowd, the weight of her unspoken feelings and the memories of their past weighed heavily on her heart.

Khawish found a secluded corner where she could be alone with her emotions. She took deep breaths, trying to calm herself, but the flood of feelings was relentless. The sight of Armaan with someone else, even if it was just a casual interaction, intensified the lingering emotions she had tried so hard to suppress.

As her tears threatened to fall,  She couldn't keep denying the impact Armaan had on her life. Their connection had been significant, and seeing him now only reignited the unresolved emotions she had carried all these years.

In the midst of her vulnerability, Khwahish found the strength to be honest with herself. She admitted that she still cared deeply for Armaan, and seeing him with someone else stirred a mix of jealousy and regret within her.
