At long last, the train began to lose speed, a loud racket was made as everyone scrambled around. Ron and Hermione had to supervise all the chaos; leaving everyone to look after the shrilly owl and ginger cat.

"I'll carry that owl, if you like," Luna said to Harry, reaching for the owl that was making a racket as Neville stowed Trever in an inside pocket.

"Oh — er — thanks," he said, handing her the cage and hoisting his snowy owls more securely in his arms.

Kaiton had easily gotten the cat to drape himself around her shoulders, resting his head comfortably on her collarbone. Agatha appeared at first that she was glaring at the cat, but really she looked rather sleepy.

As they all awkwardly shuffled out of the compartment, the first thing they felt when they stepped into the hall of the train was the night air on their faces entering from the open door leading outside as they joined the crowd.

"Don't we need to grab our trunks?" Kaiton asked the group.

"No, they take our stuff to our dorms," Ginny answered, giving a slight smile.

A lantern came swaying in the air, its holder a witch with a severe haircut and prominent chin. "First years line up over here, please! All first years to me!" she yelled.

Strange, Kaiton thought, Xavier told me in his first year that a man named Hagrid led him and the rest. Last time I checked, he was a he, and a half-giant.

"Where's Hagrid?" Harry asked to no one in particular.

"I don't know," Ginny said, "but we'd better get out of the way. we're blocking the door."

"Oh yeah..."

Not knowing where to go, Kaiton stayed outside the door, slightly worrying about her brother. Sure, she may not have shown it much in the past, but she really loved him to death.

"Aren't you coming?" Ginny asked.

"Oh, no, I'm just waiting for my brother. Xavier Baines?" Kaiton responded, hoping the name will ring a bell.

"Oh yeah! I thought so, I'll cya later, okay?"

"Cool."

She watched as the red vibrant hair bobbed up and down, soon disappearing into the crowd.

Licking her teeth, Kaiton looked back and forth between the many different entrances, anticipating to overhear Xavier's voice. or see his curly black hair amongst the mass of people.

Feeling a hand clasp on her shoulder, Kaiton's hand immediately plunged into her ropes for her wand, aiming it at the persons neck as the cat draped on her shoulders began hissing.

"Woah, chill chill chill!" Xavier said, releasing her and surrendering.

"Don't scare me like that! Coulda hexed your dumb self to oblivion," Kaiton responded, her shoulder drooping back down, releasing a breath. The cat's hair rested, but still had a skeptical look in his eyes.

"Yeah, ok, what was I supposed to do? Wave my hands over my hand calling, 'yo, dumbass'!" he replied, doing the motion half heartedly with only one arm, his other carrying Minnie's cage.

"Oh haha," Kaiton mocked.

"Who's cat is that?" Xavier asked, finally taking notice to the ginger resting on Kaiton's shoulder like a scarf.
