Kaiton brushed the white button down, looked up at the mirror and tightened the half-up-half-down small bun at the back of her head, and smoothed out the denim pants that were assisted with a thick belt.

Throwing on a stylish leather jacket and dark grey bucket hat to finish the look, a proud smirk was plastered on Kaiton's face.

"When you're done admiring yourself, rush downstairs, would you?" Xavier called through Kaiton's doorway.

"You act like you don't come in my room to use my mirror," Kaiton bit back.

Brushing through his hair with his fingers, Xavier rolled his eyes, exiting Kaiton's doorway.

Kaiton slipped her head through a handle of a book bag that contained the basics of what she was going to learn at Hogwarts.

Heaving the trunk packed with a fair assortment of essentials and grabbing Agatha's cage (Kaitons owl, which she named after Agatha Christie), racing downstairs.

Finding herself in the living room, she quickly turned a sharp left to head to the garage.

Kaiton noticed the car trunk was open, so she placed her owl down on the floor, and shoved her trunk beside Xavier's, and slammed close the back, before picking Agatha's cage up again.

Wrenching open the car door, keeping a firm but steady grip on Agatha, she banged it close again, shaking the car a bit.

"Damn, ok," Xavier said, slightly astonished. He was holding his own owls cage, a barred owl named Minnie.

"Language," Ryk said, "I'm serious, I may be smiling, but that wont stop me from kicking your ass."

Kaiton giggled from amusement, Xavier gaped at his father in disbelief, clearly seeing the unfairness in his statement.

Smirking out of entertainment from her family, Yohanna turned the key to start the engine, pulling out of the garage, backing up into the driveway, and beginning their expedition.

Kings Cross Station.

Unloading their stuff onto the they rented trolleys, they entered into the station. It was full of people, some throwing them disapproved or weirded out looks, others didn't pay mind to them.

Not knowing what to do, Kaiton threw her brother a pleading look. Their parents thought it would be a good idea if they let Xavier take care of Kaiton, seeing as how he should know everything by now.

"Just go until you see the third column labelled 9 and 10," Xavier explained coolly," until then I'll explain more."

Kaiton drove her trolley a few inches from Xavier's heels, which might've led to him tripping once or twice.

After making yet another sarcastic apologetic smile, Kaiton was faced with the "barrier" as Xavier called it.

"Just do what I do, 'kay?" Xavier tried to reassure.

"Yeah, like I've been able to copy what other people do," Kaiton said," I'm gonna take those rolling eyes of yours and use them for gobstone substitutes."

Not having anything to retort with, Xavier backed up before running straight between the platforms. One blink later, he disappeared.

Kaiton reached a hand up to touch the barrier, slowly but surely, her fingers went through.
