"Ender?" Trent asked.
"He was the first to come here. He built several structures all around the country. Underwater, on the mountains, everywhere." Leah explained
But when we first showed up, he gained an extremely strong like towards me. Mark did NOT like that so he took Ender into the basement and they had a fight. Since Ender was the stronger one, he beat on Mark 'till he was sore and extremely wounded. Then he threw him into the mine and jumped into a ravine, killing himself.
Mark was stuck there for a few days since his leg was broken by Ender, without food or water. Only a small vile from Ender as a sign of respect.
"Boy, you think the guy would give up a grudge." Trent laughed. "How long has it been?"
"5 years." Leah answered. "He left June 6, 2016. but these days are way shorter than we're used to.
"But why did Mark attack me?" Trent wondered. "Did he think I was Ender."
"No," Mark came back in the room with swords and armour, along with Trent's new bow. "For the trip to Monty's." He gestured to the weapons. "I attacked you because of the symbol on your forehead. Ender was born with it on the back of his neck. And he has adapted to the ability of possessing other humans without them even knowing about it."
Trent thought of the man he kept seeing everywhere. Could that be Ender, or maybe he's just a mirage and Trent himself had been possessed by the great Deceiver that everyone was talking about!
"Trent, lets go." Leah was already halfway up the staircase. Trent got out of his dreamworld and followed close behind Leah. They suited up in the armour and headed for the kitchen to grab some food. They entered the kitchen and Trent opened the cupboards to find some steaks, but there were only a few puddles of grease. Leah went into the room with the big map and Mark's loot and took a wide-eyed look at the map. It had holes cut through it and gashes ripped into it. HELP. Is all that it read, HELP.
"Trent, come look at this." She said as Trent came in the room munching on an apple and thinking that Mark must've took the steaks already. Trent stared at the map for a long moment before dropping his Apple and pulling Leah towards the front door, searching every corner for the tall man.
They came outside to see that it was night. They spotted Mark, which was quite hard since he was clothed in black leather armour. Mark was staring from about 20 meters into the bright purple eyes of a 3 meter tall, black beast. An endermen.
"Trent, Leah back in the house slowly." Leah pushed Trent back inside then walked in herself.
"Don't worry," Leah started. "As long as he doesn't look into its big, scary eyes, he will be okay." They watched as Mark slowly made his way around the greasy black beast. The endermen was closely observing Mark as he scaled the plains in a few leaps. Then, when Mark thought he was safe, the endermen started to vibrate.
"Mark get out of there!" Leah opened the door and started screaming on the top of her lungs. "He's gonna kill you!" Mark didn't have enough time to react. The endermen approached Mark with his mouth wide open running at the speed of a mine cart on powered rails. Mark turned around just as the vibrating monster scraped his giant claws against Mark's black armour, revealing flesh. Mark howled in agony and turned around to stab the beast right in the gut. But it was nowhere in sight.
"Behind you!" Leah screamed as Trent was trying to hold her back. The endermen grabbed Mark and chucked him back over to the front door. Leah couldn't handle her brother being treated like scum. He was a smart and strong guy! While Trent helped Mark back on his feet, Leah grabbed Trent's bow and fired it straight at the endermen. The arrow made impact on the beast. Almost. The endermen teleported right before the arrow reached him. Leah looked around for any signs of him but couldn't find any.
"He's gone guys." She said. But in that small moment the endermen came back and grabbed Leah with both of his long hands and whispered something that sounded like "groogthuoth". He quickly looked at Mark, and vanished leaving the eye and purple dust on the chunk of grass he was standing on. Leah was gone.
