Chapter 7

~Arthit's POV~

Felix & I followed my blue orb out of the lab & we entered towards the middle path. The room is a lot bigger than when I saw it on the monitor. The Aqua Rescue 2 looking pretty as ever. There was also a mini garage section that held all different kinds of vehicles like the Rescue Rover, Lightspeed Cycle, & Luna's magic broom that could be transform into the Mystic Racer. Can't wait to get my hands on one. "I am so jealous right now." Felix had a big smile on his face while I was trying to hide the blush on my face, most things here are mine after all. It's really cool.

"Let's take your Lightspeed Cycle for a spin." Felix jumped on excitedly then he started to rev the engine in all its glory. It's funny how he doesn't see that it can fit one person at a time, it's not like those other motorcycles where you can take a date on it. "That sounds great, but I think it would be a lot better if we took the Rescue Rover. I only have my license for cars, not motorcycles." Looking into the Rescue Rover, I saw Chad Lee's firefighter jacket in the front seat. It's technically mine, right? How could I resist the urge to try it on. It's a disservice if I didn't.

"Looking good sexy, mind if I take you out on a date some time?" Felix was leaning against the car looking me up & down with his stupid smirk on his face. I did feel special wearing that jacket though. "Ok, we have to hurry. We can admire later." We both hopped in the Rover, literally. All I had to do was press a button to start the engine then a hologram map appeared at the center of us, near the gearshift. "Great. It's leading us to that event I mentioned." I nodded then right when I stepped on the gas, a door opened to lead us to the main road. There was a feeling inside my I couldn't explain, I'm an actual Power Ranger with all the gear. I can't wait for a proper team.

"What is this event?"

"It has to do with the culture of the island. You could buy local food, clothes, & there's usually music & dance performances." I took a quick glance at Felix with a confused look. "The event is held every last weekend of the month to support its community & culture. This has been a tradition for years." The more I feel & the more I learn about this place, it reminds me of home a lot. Our people, our food, our cultures, & traditions. I miss them every day. "That honestly sounds so nice. It's been years since I've experienced Songkran, Phi Ta Khon, Yi Peng, & Wing Kwai." Felix put a hand on my shoulder & showed a reassuring smile on his face. Makes me wonder how my mom is doing.

"There's a lot of things you don't know about. I can show you everything Maui has to offer. Maybe it'll make you feel better." The offer makes me excited & a little sad the same time. I don't know when I'm going to tell him, maybe he already knows. "That's the event over there!" I parked across the street. The danger was nowhere to be seen when we both got out of the Rescue Rover. "What was that?" I though too soon, an explosion going towards another area with more street vendors. "Nong, are you ok?" I ran up to a girl, probably the same age as us, who had a few scrapes on her arms & legs. Those Malicious Rangers are serious this time. I also heard Felix gasp.

"Looks like we have some new opponents. We haven't even destroyed the other 3 that attacked us." The 2 that showed up are the Pink Turbo & RPM Blue Rangers. The girl in my arms groaned in pain, trying so hard to get up from her position. "Val, it's me, Kalani! That's my hānai sister, we got separated before the attack." A local looking girl ran up to me panicked. She was angry & worried all at the same time, she was also trying to hold back her tears. "Get her out of here, it's not safe for the both of you." The local girl nodded her head before carrying her sister away, she did look back at me a few times.
