Chapter 3

~Arthit's POV~

"Should we really be doing this now? I say we come back during the day." Luna was starting to become scared after a few minutes of us walking down the beach, away from our campsite. She held on to my arm for protection. "If you're that scared, you can go back to camp." It didn't sound like a jab at her, but it did seem to offend Luna a bit. Her grip got tighter. "Who's gonna get help if the both of you get hurt? You should be thanking me." This is new. They're actually fighting. "It's not like that. You had a near death experience, I'm trying to protect you."

"I don't need no man to protect me. I'm capable of taking care of myself, if anything, Art will protect me from whatever is out there because he thinks I could protect myself. Not because he thinks I can't." Luna thankfully, let's go of my arm to start pulling on Felix's ear. Where did this come from all of a sudden? Does this normally happen? "What? That doesn't make sense-" I watched Luna slam him to the ground like he was some kind of rag doll. She's a lot stronger than she looks. Luna is her own Golden Trio.

I kneeled down to Felix when Luna strutted away after her victory. What a woman. "Are you gonna tell me what happened between you & Luna now? Or is this thing with her a onetime thing." Felix had this annoyed expression on his face. I'm gonna have to take that as a no. I'll find out one day. "None of your business, man. Thank you for helping me up." I helped him get the sand off of his clothes. You have to wonder if they ever dated? With that first interaction I saw between them, the race, & now. They act like ex's would towards each other, right?

We continued walking & my ear twitched. There was a faint sound coming from somewhere causing Felix to notice my reaction. "Everything ok?" Felix put a hand on my shoulder. I looked at him with a blankly, maybe it was my own imagination. I couldn't explain it so I didn't bother saying anything. "What's the matter, Arthit?" Luna & Felix picked up on what I was worrying about. The sound got louder, banging on the trees, thumping on the ground. The 3 of us looked at each other then started running.

Luna, Felix, & I ended up running into the cave deep enough to get away from the sound without even thinking. I was hunched over trying to catch my breath while Felix had Luna in his arms trying to calm her nerves. "I can take care of myself!" Felix got a clean hit to the face then his gut the second Luna realized who was touching her. It probably would be a different story if I was holding her. "You're bruising the poor guy. If you bruise him anymore, Mr.Ford is going to have some problem." Felix was trying to make as little noise as possible through all the pain.

"What's with you guys? First you barely wanted to talk to each other I'm the cafeteria, then the both of you gave each other encouragement during the race, & now Luna can't stand you. You 2 can't tell me that you're not exes. You have to be."

"None of your business!" Luna & Felix yelled at you at the same time. Curly haired boy recovered quickly. I just rolled my eyes, but they totally dated. "We're at the cave, what now?" I stood at the very center of the walkway feeling some wind. Something in there was calling to us, it could be the obelisk. The other 2 stayed quiet as they inspected opposite sides of the cave. After a few minutes, the 3 of decided to walk side by side deeper into the cave. "Oh shit!" Torches on both sides were lit up. We flinched. Turning to my left there was a familiar symbol on the wall.

"Felix, Luna, come take a look at this." Luna, Felix, & I surrounded the image on the wall. Felix caught what the symbol meant right away & Luna was still left confused. "Dino Fury?" There was no doubt about that. Why would a random Power Rangers symbol be on this cave's wall? I decided to walk forward only for another set of torches to light up the next symbol. "Next is Beast Morphers." Another one.
