Chapter Thirty-three Walking Travesty

Mitch's POV

As I sit in the dark I strain to hear everything the voice is saying.

"My ship went........Blade....Fools.......Therapy,I'm a walking travesty.......Therapy.........My lungs.....Dangerous........Experts say I'm delirious..........Take back your misery.........Arrogant boy love yourself.........Lucky if your memory remains..........Therapy.......Smiling at everything.........Misery,therapy.........Therapy you were never a friend........You can choke on your misery." They sang. One word stuck out to me,'love'. Have I felt love before? So many questions,but none of them have answers. I sit in the ebony light and think for a while longer."Mitch........You." The voice says. I sit for a while longer before a name pops into my head. Jeome. Who's that? I ask myself. Me, a boyfriend, a friend, my dad,uncle, grandpa? I think of anyone it could be. "How's..........Jerome?" A new voice says. Jerome,so he's here. I think. "He's good,but I miss him." I heard. "We all do." A girl voice,and I'm hearing mostly everything they're saying! "Jerome,he'll.........Soon." Another new voice,male,but I didn't get the whole sentence. Who is going to what soon? I tried yelling but no sound came. I sit for a couple seconds and hear the second new voice speak. "Oh,I just got a call from..................Back." They said and I guess they walked out of the room. "I wonder..............Well .....................Bathroom..........Be right back." The female voice says. "Ok." 'Jerome' says. ".......Please give me some kind hope." Jerome says to someone. I feel like I'm eavesdropping. I try to move something just in case. I hear an almost inaudible gasp. I then faintly hear a door open. "Di-D-Did you see that?" Jerome's voice says to the person who walked in. "what?" They guy asks confused. "..........Hand moved." Jerome told him. I hear the door again. "Alex,Jerome thinks he saw.........Hand move." The guy says to 'Alex'. Alex. Sister, mom, aunt, girlfriend, friend? I wonder. "Jerome,just hold on to that sliver of hope." Alex says. "Oh...........................Days." The third voice says to Alex and Jerome. "Ok," Jerome says sounding distant to their conversation. "Well it's getting late,see ya later Jayrome." The male voice says. "OK bye Lex,bye Ty." Jerome says. Ty,so many names. I need to think. I tell myself. I hear the sound of Alex and Ty's footsteps disappearing from my range of hearing. Now to think.

Ok well that's it for chapter 33,I.'ll try to make the next chapter longer. Yesterday it said 893 views,I came on today and it said 964,you guys are amazing.
