Chapter Thirty-eight The End

Adam's POV

Brice and I were snuggled up on the couch watching a movie, when Jerome, Ty, Alex, and Seto, walk in the door. "Seto?" I ask. "Yep.'' He replies. "Why are you here?" I ask confused. "What, I can't visit one of my friends when he's in a coma?" He asks sarcastically. "Fine, fine. So, how've you been?" I ask. "Pretty good, how about you?" He replies. "Great.'' I answer. "Oh our stuff is still at the hotel.'' Ty says to Alex. "Right. Well Ty and I are going to get our stuff and check out of the hotel. See ya guys in a few." Alex says as they walk out of the house. "Bye!'' Jerome calls after them. "Ok, I'll show you to your room Seto." Jerome says taking Seto upstairs. "Well........." Brice says. "What?" I ask. "I don't know." He says truthfully. I lean up and give Brice a gentle kiss. "Adam?" He asks me. "Huh?" I reply. "I love you." He says. "I love you too." I tell him.

Mitch's POV

The mystery people came back in and told me they were leaving. Well hopefully I get to go home soon, he said one to five days? I ask myself. "Mitchell, I have some food for you." A nurse said walking into the room. "Thank you." I say gratefully taking the tray from her. "You're welcome." She says leaving. I sloppily eat the food she gave me and become able to fall into a deep slumber.

~Timeskip of Five Days~

Jerome's POV

Alex and I got in my car and drove to the hospital to pick Mitch up. He's been there for five days, awake and he hasn't remembered anything from the past about fourteen years. He doesn't remember me, or any Team Crafted member, come to think about it, he doesn't remember anyone except, of course, his family. Mitch I need you back. I think longingly. "We're here to pick up Mitchell Hughes." I say to the woman at the desk. "He already checked himself out." She tells us. "What?!" I practically yell at her. "He's over eighteen. He's able to check himself out if he's eighteen and over." She explains. "Thanks." I say depressingly. "No problem." She says. "Well, bye. Thanks for everything." Alex says. "Good bye, have a nice day!" She calls after us in a cheery tone. I feel a few tears slip down my face. "Don't worry Jerome, I'm sure he's fine." Alex reassures me. "You really think so?" I ask her like a three year-old. "I'm positive." She says.

Mitch's POV

"Mitchell Hughes. You are able to go home now, you just have to fill out this form.'' A doctor tells me. "Thanks." I say taking the pen and the sheet of paper on the clipboard. I finish filling out the form and the doctor tells me where I will find my clothes. I get changed and walk out of the hospital. "Have a good day Mitchell." A nurse calls after me. "You too." I answer. "I pull out my slightly damaged phone and look through my contacts. Mom, Sister #1, Sister #2, Dad, Connor, Jerome. My finger hovers over Jay-rome for a little as if telling me to call him. I don't know a Jerome. I tell myself. I continue scrolling through my contacts and find, Alex, Ty, Adam, Seto, Jenny, Jason, Ssundee, Fish, and Tyler. "Who are these people?" I think aloud. My phone then starts ringing, making me visibly jump. I check the caller ID. Jay-rome. I don't know him, but I have the strange urge to answer. I go with my gut and answer the phone. "Mitch?!" He exclaims. "Hello?" I ask trying to sound unenthusiastic. "Where aare you, I can come pick you up." He offers. "Uhhhhhhh." I say thinking. I fell a connection between us, like a love of sorts. I want to say 'yes, come get me Jerome!' And smother him in a hug. But instead I say," No thanks, I don't even know you." Breaking my heart. It's like I don't even have control of what comes out of my mouth. "I feel like I came with luggage, do you know where it is?" I ask him. "UH, yeah, it's at my house. I can drive it to you." He says. "Thanks I'm on Maple Street." I tell him. "Ok, be there in a few." He says. "Ok, thanks." I say gratefully, hanging up the phone. All there is to do now is wait.

~TIme Skip~

A car pulls up in front of me six minutes after my phone call. A guy gets out of the car, probably Jerome. "Hey Mitch." He says sounding a little sad. "Hi?" I say unsure. "Here's your stuff." He says handing me a suitcase.b"Thanks." I tell him. "Anything for my Benja." He mumbles, thinking I can't hear him. He must have feelings for me. I conclude. "Well, goodbye Jay-rome." I say referring to what I typed in as his caller ID. "Bye Mitch." He replies and Slightly hangs his head as he walks to back to his car. I watch him drive off and start walking to the left. I see a lady pushing a stroller down the sidewalk and decide to ask her,"Do you know where the airport is?" "Keep walking the way you were, then take a left onto Main Street, then turn right on Van Curen Avenue, finally take a left onto Metamorphosis Street. And just follow the road all the way to the airport." She explains. "Thank you." I say. "Any time." She says and continues walking down the sidewalk.
