'Not Dead!?' Chapter 23

                      Y/Ns pov

I saw Ethan creep out the room quietly as me and Eugene were discussing the sage zone.

"Alright we will pack up tomorrow and have our last day here, then the day after that we will make our way to the safe zone" I explained.

Eugene agreed and we talked a little more before calling it a night. I headed to Ethan room, I wanted to explain myself and apologise. I am losing control of myself way to much now.

But as I was nearing the classroom I heard Sue and Ethan chatting about the safe zone. I leaned against the wall next to the door and started to listen in on there conversation.

"We will have to leave Y/N behind" Sue said.

I understood why she would say that, I was literally a murderer and I know she was outside the door when me and Ethan were in 1-C, I heard her rappid breathes. But to my surprise Ethan yelled at her.

"NO!" Ethan yelled.

Why was he still defending me, I'm literally a murderer?

"He is a murderer, a psychopath! We can't take the risk of him coming with us" Sue yelled back.

Rude but it's true, I am a psychopath.

CLUNK CLUNK

I shot up from the wall as I heard 2 big objects hit the floor. I swung open the door and saw Sue and Ethan passed out on the ground. I then caught a wiff of a type of.. Gas...

I scooped Ethan up and got him out the classroom quickly, then I did the same with Sue.

I called out to Harry who was shocked and immediately rushed over, the gas was slowly coming into the corridor. I ripped a bit of my shirt and used it as a mask, I entered the room and opened the window, the gas immediately started to flow out the window.

Now where was it coming from, I looked around and saw it mostly in a corner of the room. I walked over to it and noticed a small vent where the gas was escaping from. I used my dagger to unscrew the vent and open it, a little pouch fell out and the was the source of the gas.

I quickly thew it out the window and went back out over to Harry who was still trying to wake the other 2. Zion and Eugene heard Harry's yelling and was also trying to wake them.

"What happened?!" Zion asked me.

"Someone put sleeping gas in the vent of Ethan room" I explained.

"But who would do that!" Eugene yelled.

Yes, who would do that. I slowly turned towards Lawrence's classroom and sprinted towards it. I ripped open the door and my hunch was correct, where Lawrence's body was supposed to be was only a pool of dried blood.

"Lawrence is up and moving guys!" I yelled to them.

They were mixed emotions among the 3, fear, shock, anger and confusion. Although I'm not surprised, I knew it wouldn't be that easy to murder him. I sighed and went back to the group.

Sue was slowly waking up while Ethan was still unconscious.

"I-ugh what happened" Sue said and rubbed her eyes.

"Lawrence put sleeping gas in the vent of the room" I explained.

"What!No he's dead!" Sue yelled.

"Well his body is not in his room, only the blood" I said.

Although I wasn't much attention to her, i was very concerned for Ethan.

"He'll be ok, don't worry" Eugen reassured me.
