You, Cuphead and Mugman were tap dancing for Elder Kettle trying to charm him to give you three cookies as he was liking what he was seeing as he danced in his chair Cuphead pointed at Mugman as Mugman started to dance Mugman pointed at you as you did your dance number
as you pointed at Cuphead as he did his own dance you three grabbed hands as your heads spun in the hair dancing on the staircase as you were playing the piano while Cuphead and Mugman were dancing to the music Cuphead was spinning on the radio while you and Mugman were dancing with canes and top hats the three of you rolled to Elder Kettle finishing your dance Elder Kettle whistled steam coming out of his nose "Looks like it worked"
Cuphead whispered "Yeah, he's charmed all right" Mugman agreeing "Hope we get those cookies" you added "So charming!"
Elder Kettle smiled pulling out three cookies out of the jar "But you two will never charm your way into my cookie jar!" He yelled "Except for you Y/N you did amazing out there, very charming!" He said handing you a cookie walking off eating some of the cookies "Aww"
both Cuphead and Mugman said sadly you felt bad for them so you broke your cookie into three pieces handing a piece to them as they both took it and ate it they as you are your piece thanked you for being kind to them but they still felt sad why their charm never worked on anybody but for some reason yours did
"We've been doing that dumb dance Chalice taught us for weeks, and it hasn't worked once" Mugman said throwing his top hat that name making you blush again as your face turned a bit red "Why do I always smile when I hear that name?"
You whispered to yourself "I tell ya, Cuphead, she's was messing with us" Mugman crossed his arms angry about this "No way! Chalice wouldn't do that" Cuphead trying to defend Chalice
"Yeah she's a pretty sweet gal" you added "We know noting about her, expect she abandoned us and then never came to visit us in prison" Mugman said "See, that's two things we know about her already" Mugman making an annoyed face as he sighed bending over to pick up his top hat and cane
"I really thought she was gonna be our friend it was nice not being on our own" Mugman walking away with sadness "Hey, Chalice is a great friend" you said defending Chalice "Well, if she's so great, how come we never heard from her again? hmm?"
He asked hanging up his top hat and cane as a knock on the door was heard "Ooh, maybe that's your dear friend Chalice now" Mugman opening the door to reveal Chalice you instantly started to blush covering your face a bit "Hey, it's me Chalice!" She said doing a pose as Mugman slammed the door on her
"Chalice!" You ran over to the door opening it but Chalice gently pushed you bumping into Cuphead and Mugman getting inside the cottage closing the door behind her "Shh! Keep it down, will ya?" She asked as she walked into the living room "I'm being chased by an angry mob" she said closing the blinds as you, Cuphead and Mugman gasped
"Angry mob!" You three yelled "Yep, a angry mob" she started to put window on the window "You know all those chumps who gave me free stuff?" She asked nailing the board on the window
"Well, they started to catch on that I was scamming 'em apparently, they got a problem with that" she shaked her hand a bit going over to you three putting her arms around you "So I thought I could stay here, since we had such a great time last time" she said playfully punching the three of you Mugman rubbing his arm as you as Cuphead found it a bit funny smiling
"Some great time! You ditched us! Whammo, you're gone! And we wind up at the big house" Mugman crossing his arms closing the chest Chalice left open "The big house?" Chalice asked "Gee, I had no idea gosh, fellas, I'm sorry I got you tossed in the hoosegow" Chalice feeling bad about this as she sat on top of the chest "Sorry"
