12. Back to reality.

Our vacation had came and went. It was beautiful and magical. We had so much fun. It was the last night and we were all in bed. Scarlett had been asleep for a few hours. Billy was laying on the bed flipping the tv channels. I had just got out of the shower. I had on his T-shirt and I was climbing into bed.

Ever sense getting back together after our 48 break up - as we so lovingly called it a - I felt like I was 17 again. All I wanted to was to touch and cuddle into Billy as much as possible. So that night when I climbed into bed I wanted to try something. I wanted to see how long it took billy to comment that I wasn't cuddling with him.

I laid on my side of the bed and laid my head on my pillow. "Whatcha watching" I asked staring at the tv.

"What the fuck" he whispered. He was staring at me. I looked at him. "What" I respond.

He looks at me and then at the spot where I normally lay. "Are you going to sleep without me tonight?" He says looking sad.

I shake my head no. And I giggle and scoot into his arms. I take a deep breath. "You scarred me baby" he whispers kissing the top of my head.

"I was doing an experiment" I giggle.

"Oh really" he says. He reaches down and starts to tickle my sides. "Am I you're little lab rat now" he says tickling me more.

I squirm and laugh "billy stop" I laugh as he keeps tickling me. I giggle and laugh and he keeps doing it. Finally I find myself on top of Billy. He softly grips my hips with his hands. "You are absolutely gorgeous babe" he says brushing my hair out of my face.

"We'll you are the most handsome man I have ever met baby" I say leaning down and kissing his face. I move back on to the bed and I cuddle into him.

He turns to face me. I lay my head on his arm. And he uses the other to run his fingers through my hair. He looks at Scarlett.

"When can we try for another" he ask me still softly rubbing my back with his finger tips.

"I say let's try this spring" I smile at him. "Really?" He ask.

"Yeah baby. Maybe try to have them a year and a half apart. That seems like a good gap, don'tcha think" I say softly kissing him after.

"Sounds like a plan baby" he says kissing my forehead.

"We do make cute babies" I say looking at Billy. "Especially when they look like daddy" I smile at him. "God it so fuckin hot when you call me that" he says then he bites his lower lip and softly shakes his head.

"Oh I didn't know how much you liked it, daddy" I say and I wink at him.

He throws his head back and pulls me closer to him. He plants his hand on my ass and kisses me. I smile as we kiss. The kissing turns into more of a make out. Billy and I were making out like high schoolers. Billy's hands were holding me close to his body. He was kissing me like he'd missed me. Finally when we part Billy pulls me in "I love you baby" he says resting his head on mine. "So much" he says hugging me close.

"I love you too" i say smiling at him. He cuddled me in and says "get some rest babe we got a long day of travel tomorrow." We fall asleep.

The next morning I cleaned up our room and I packed everything up. Billy took care of getting Scarlett ready. Finally we were ready to leave.

When we get to the airport Billy takes our luggage in and I carry Scarlett and the diaper bag. She was very fussy today.

Billy got our tickets and I sat on a bench with her. She cried and was really tired. I felt her head and she was warm. Great, I thought. Billy came back over. "Alright let's head to the gate" he said smiling at me. Scarlett was just calming down and starting to fall asleep. I nod trying to make a sound. Billy leads the way and walks to the gate. When we get there there is only one seat open in the gate to sit. Billy sits down and looks around. I stand and rock Scarlett.

"Really" I whisper. Looking at him.

"What" he says opening a magazine. I roll my eyes and walks around the gate. I walk into a store and buy some water and baby aspirin for Scarlett. All while holding her.

I came back after a bit. She was still sleeping. Billy was still sitting in the seat. They started boarding. "Do you want to sit?" He ask.

"You're kidding me" I say to him. I look at him annoyed.

"What" he says standing up.

"Why wouldn't you have asked me that an hour ago?" I ask. I say still rocking Scarlett. She was starting to get fussy again. He holds out his arms toward her. "No" she whispers and tucks herself back into me.

"Come see daddy" he says

"No" she whispers again and starts to cry. I smile and shrug at him.

"She isn't feeling well honey" I say to him. "What? Since when?" He ask standing in line with us to board the plane. He tries to take her and she cries "no!" And reaches out for me. Billy gets mad.

"Come here baby" he says rubbing her back and she settles down. We give her the medicine and she lays her head on Billy's shoulder. Finally we board the plane. I make Billy sit by the window and I sit in the middle.

Scarlett was still sleeping on Billy when we buckled in. "Oh baby, she's really warm"

I nod while resting my head on the back of my seat. "She's been fussy all morning" I whisper I grabbed the water out of the diaper bag and I start to cough.

"Oh no" Billy says looking over at me and then back to Scarlett. "You girls are getting sick" he says. He rubs my knee with his head.

We fly home. Scarlett and I sleep the whole flight home. When we land. Billy softly shakes my leg. "Babe, we landed" he whispers. He still had Scar and she was sleeping. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Billy smiles at me.

"Looks like I know what I'm doing the rest of the week" he whispers as I lean over to check Scarlett.

I smile at him.

We get off the plane, get our bags, and we get to our car. I strap Scarlett into her car seat. Billy puts the luggage in the trunk. I climb into the passenger seat. Before Billy even gets in the car I pulled my knees to my chest laid my head on the window and I fell asleep.
